After watching Serenity last night and seeing Objects in Space a few nights back I realized that the bad guys have some good lines. And since not too long ago we had a thread of favorite bad guy from Firefly, but I'll expand this to Serenity cause the Operative has so many good lines. Feel free to throw in any quotes from any antagonist, Badger, Niska, Jubal or whoever as long as they're being evil. Mine would have to be from the Operative..."Do you know what your sin is?" Cracks me up every time now and I use it if someone screws up, then I fill in the appropriate sin...

I have a certain fondness (wrong word, I'm sure) for Niska's line to Zoe, "To me they are worth more." Largely because by any standards it's completely untrue. Wash and Mal mean more to her than anything else.

Oh man, the villains get some awesome quotes.

Just about anything Jubal Early says I *love* - he is just *so* screwed up :) "Am I a lion?" - that cracked me up but in another way it freaked me out completly because it was so random.

I also love the Operative's speech about sin - he believes in what he's saying so it's that much more potent.

Ohhh nice topic :D

There are so many but the one that stuck with me was from the Operative in SERENITY:

Have you looked at this scan carefully, Doctor? At his face? It's love, in point of fact. Something a good deal more dangerous.

Great line!

Keep the money. Use it to buy a funeral. It doesn't matter where you go, or how far you fly. I will hunt you down, and the last thing you see will be my blade.

My favorite, though I can never remember it correctly is from Niska in "The Train Job" when he refers to the guy he is torturing - something like "My wife's nephew, there will be hell to pay at dinner tonight, but there is no helping that" Its a great line, please feel free to post it correctly. I love the way uber villian gives us a window to a world where he is in charge not so much.

See how I'm not punching him, I think I've grown!

Gotta love Badger.

The line doesn't exactly show his evilness but I can't help but love Jubal Early's "Well that's somewhat unsettiling" when he hears River laugh.

The other one I like from Early is his rant about Surgeon's needing to be cut on. I work in the medical field and I honestly never thought of that, and as crazy as it sounds I agree with Early.

"You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport, yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?"

I think he says "My wife's nephew. At dinner I am getting earful."

I LOVE Womack's line. "I'm a dangerous minded man on a ship loaded with hurt, now why you got me talkin' with your peons?"

I just love the way he says it like a compliment.
