Now I am learning about scary.

Welcome, Hiei! We're glad you found this place and decided to join in. Feel free to post anytime--we love to hear from fellow Browncoats! How did you happen to discover "Firefly"? (We always love to hear how Browncoats became Browncoats.)

I suspect FollowMal will be along soon to issue you your own shiny brown coat. Meanwhile, have a great time here!

Welcome..Don't worry to much about spelling...we tend to let it slide...there are a couple teachers lurking about but they tend to look the other way. I make enough of my own boo boos when in a rush...use spell check. Just remember it can't always help..(since or sense) Enjoy the board. Don't overlook talk story or real world Disc (ON HOME PAGE). I used to go straight to general discussion. I missed a lot good stuff on the other pages. You may disagree with some people about certain things...But we all have love for FF.

Welcome Home, Hiei. You are #21578, so must
be de-lurking at last.

While you're waiting for your coat (sometimes
it takes a while) why not try this big, ripe
strawberry and a drop of RMMC's Tullimore Dew?

Mudder's Milk is in the jug over here at the
reception table, and you'll be expected up in
the galley at the buffet as soon as you can
climb all these see-through stairs.

Be sure to join in the discussions (we love the
conversion stories) and don't worry a whole lot
about the spelling. Lots of manglers here, me
among 'em.

Spread the word. Share your discs. Say "Shiny"
and see what happens.

Thanks guys, I got into Firefly through a friend he had me tape the episode "The Message" for him. Loved it ever sence my favorite parts of that episode is still when Mal comes out shooting and screaming "Here I am come get me!!" just after Zoe said stealth is the key, and when Mal says "Tracy you ain't dead yet? I wanted your beans."

They were soldiers on the same side. Not sure they are that different anyway. I would say their relationship is one that was forged during a war that brought them extremely close(as wars do to combatants) But Zoe is a soldier...Mal is a Capt. she respects Mal and owes him much.

It's true, most forums are not any fun and are just flame-fests. With the exception of the occasional troll and/or moron, we are a friendly bunch who are actually here to talk and be friends. We all share the same passion and tend to have other things in common, too, even though we be from all walks of life.
And for some odd reason very few of the trolls and morons last very long here... Maybe it's the things we throw at them or the constant poking with sharp objects. Or the pointing and laughing. I'm not sure.
Some are tenacious, sadly. You will learn to avoid them, so no worries.
Welcome home.

By all means keep to what you prefer.
With a katana you'll likely find folk
here who are eager to play.

I was required to learn to wield the
epee while I was in college, but to
this day my favorite kind of fencing
is redwood grape-stakes.

An old joke, yes, but a true statement
nonetheless.
