I dunno how I feel about this if it turns out to be true.

I still REALLY wish Morena was in the running. But maybe I'm partial...

In response to many requests...I've deleted the fabulous picture of Nathan in the Wonder Woman outfit. Seems too many browncoats went blind. Sorry about that.

I don't know who Rachel Bilson is, so I 'bucketed her. Here she is:

How did a UK website get this info before more traditional FOJW websites like whedonesque?
Maybe it's doubtful...

"Have you ever been with a Warrior Woman?"

I'm not sure about this one. I've never seen an episode of THE O.C. (and have no intention of ever), so I don't know if it would work. Maybe I'll know more after I see her in THE LAST KISS opposite Zach Braff this weekend.

My gut tells me that this could be a mis-step. I mean, it's Wonder WOMAN, not Wonder Girl. I still of the league that Morena should be Wonder Woman because not only does she look the part, but actually have the acting chops to pull it off.

"There's only one "Return" ok, and it ain't "of the King", it's "of the Jedi."

"Maybe we should start calling your friend 'Padme' because he loves 'Mannequin Skywalker' so much, Right? (imitating robot) Danger...danger...my name is Anakin...my shitty acting is ruining saga."

Excerpt of internet teaser for CLERKS 2.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I would bet Rachel's agent or publicist planted the "news," just liked happened with that Bollywood actress on IMDb.

I still think Joss should turn Hollywood on its ear and cast Gina.

Don't ever mention Wonder Girl. It makes my head hurt to think of the damage her existence does to WW's timeline....

If you didn't know, Wonder Girl was originally the teenage stories of Wonder Woman, not a different character. Then she moved in with her adult self. That was sometime before WW lost all of her powers and became a martial arts babe in black tights. And then a statue. Let's not discuss the invisible prop plane that morphed into a jet that she doesn't need because now she can fly....

Consistency: not DC's strongpoint. I know, not on ANY of their characters.

CYBERSNARK

Well, in DC's defense, that was mostly pre-Crisis. Post-Crisis continuity is much more coherent.

First, there was Wonder Woman (a.k.a. Diana Prince), from Themyscira. She was an artificial being, created by Queen Hippolyta out of clay, then given life by the Greek gods.

She eventually adopted Donna Troy as her aprentice --the first Wonder Girl. Donna then eventually joined the Darkstars (an interplanetary peace-keeping force, similar to the Green Lantern Corps). Donna Troy was eventually killed by a rogue Superbot (don't ask).

The second Wonder Girl is Cassandra Sandsmark, who was a friend of Wonder Woman's, and challenged the Olympian gods on her behalf, despite being only a human. Impressed by her spirit, Zeus gave her powers to match Wonder Woman's. She eventually became Superboy's girlfriend.

AFAIK, Cassie is still Wonder Girl, and she and Robin are working to resurrect Superboy. I kinda jumped off the DC bandwagon during Infinite Crisis --too many universe-rewriting spectacles trying to be EXTREEEEEEEEM!!!1!! By this time next year, all the changes from IC will have been retconned away and we'll be back to normal. I miss the 90s-era-DC, back when they gave us actual continuity instead of just Token Annual Crossovers.

Anybody remember the Death of Superman?

Heck ya I remember the Death of Superman! I have the comics and all of the four Superman comics that came out after that. That was some damned good reading.

This has to be a joke. Rachel is far too frail in frame to play the role of WW (plus she's too short).

I've heard nearly every rumor, even Lindsey Lohan for gosh sakes! Lindsey Lohan?!? ....now there's a true heroin...............e. Sorry, couldn't resist a little celeb humor! Anywho, I think the only reliable info to come out is that they (WB, Joss,& all the powers that be) intend to use an unknown. Don't know enough 'bout this here unknown to know if she's worth knowin' as WW. But I do have confidence in Joss, I just hope he and the studio have similiar tastes.

I don't know her acting, but she sure looks like a woman to me...

I think she'd at least fill out the costume nicely.
