THOLO

I posted a thread a while back about sending Hasbro requests for a Serentiy Mirco Machines Die Cast.
They make mainly star wars, BSG and Transformers. on the back of BSG die casts there was a Universal logo.
So I sent them a request for Serenity ships.

Maybe if we Browncoats got together and put in enough requests they might make them for us.

just a thought. what do yall think?
it couldnt hurt, and my all means i dont want a march on Hasbro, just send them a request at their web page.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Well, I sent a request last time, and I will gladly do so again.

I would love some diecast Serenity ships for my collection and my desk at work.

You know... this actually works. A while back I wrote to Hasbro about their Playskool Star Wars toys. My girls like them but wanted Princess Leia. A year or so later they came out with the Galactic Heroes sets, which included Pricess Leia.

Coincidence? Maybe, but it's worth a shot.

I sent them an e-mail.

Sent them an e-mail. I've collected a lot of the Star Trek and Star Wars micro machines. But having a little Serenity ship would rock. Then I wouldn't have to display my little homemade clay ones.

I think maybe in our e-mails, we should mention that Serenity made an appearance in Battlestar Galactica.

Who knows, maybe they'll include it in the BSG line. I'd like to see the other ships too, but I'll settle with Serenity for the time being.

Baby steps, right? If the sales are big, it should be a no-brainer to do the other ships then right?

Just sent request for Serenity set. Am currently looking for the Battlestar Galactica micro, it came out a few sets ago and I can't find it anywhere now. @ entertainment earth, they show a Titanium ultra set, a bit bigger 6-7". The titanium series has a bit more detail than the old sci-fi sets. So far no Star Trek. Hopefully they start that up and then redo Babylon 5.

I would love to see these ships in Diecast:

- Serenity

- Reaver ship w/ the magnetic grapple claw

- The Operative's warship

- All of the other Alliance warships

- The Reaver ship w/ the EMP gun that chased Serenity

- Jubal Early's ship

Hi Dale,

Thank you for your interest in Hasbro, Inc.

Since many revisions may occur prior to a product release, information, such as release dates, possible new items and where to buy future products, is not available in advance for distribution.

We ask that you visit our web site at http://www.hasbro.com often for the most current product information.

We appreciate your understanding and your interest.
Customer (Dale) 09/22/2006 10:52 AM
Would you consider releasing the spaceship Serenity from the movie of the same name. The movie was also released by Universal. I know there would be considerable interest in this ship and any other you may include from the movie or the TV series Firefly.

Thanks for your time.

agreed, it is not a no. but it is not a yes either. the more we ask the more likely they will give it a real thought of releasing a die cast model.

i am not talking about flooding them, just asking them if they would consider it, which is the whole purpose of this thread. to make bc's aware of the idea.

Make sure you have the product category
"Titanium Series Die Cast" and "Product Information"

I think last time I sent in under Micro-machines. It helps the numbers if they all get grouped together.
