I just read on Tvguide.com that Daybreak has been cancelled!!!

When will Adam Baldwin get a tv show opportunity that really gives him a chance to showcase his talents????????????

Despite Adam's best efforts, Daybreak was an awful show....

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I watched the pilot and just couldn't get into it. I figured it wouldn't last too long. Sad to see it go due to Adam, but I am not surprised.

Yeah I had a hard time liking it either. I wish Adam would get offered a quality series to star in instead of being a background character, btu every little bit helps ( in terms of more on your resume more offers come in)

I never watched the show, but I'm miffed for Adam. They don't even give shows a chance anymore, do they?!? For gods sake, it takes time for an audience to find a show, for the writers to find the tone and actors to get into their characters. Give the shows a chance to hit their stride, that's all I ask! I'm getting sick of watching a show, getting invested in it, and then it gets cancelled a few weeks or 2 months later: Firefly, Arrested Development, Dead Like Me, Keen Eddie, My So-Called Life... the list goes on and on.

My understanding was that it was meant for a short run anyways...kinda like an occasional mini-series. In the IMDB listing, it was labelled as 7 episodes in length from day one.

I really liked this show. I thought it was original and exciting. I was looking forward to seeing who was behind it all and why.

I understand a lot of people here had a problem with the show, but I'm not sure as to why.

I believe that anyone who wants to catch the remaining episode can do so on the ABC website.

I am absolutely sure that Adam Baldwin will show again soon, he is to good not to find work.

lol yeah he was in a great show, but that one barely got off the ground, which is a whole other discussion on the unfairness of Hollywood today.

Adam needs a show that really lets him display his acting chops long-term.

When, tv executives???

*shakes fist at sky*

This reminds me of the Family Guy clip where Peter talks about all the fox shows that their being cancelled made room for, and the whole list is of shows that got cancelled...and when i heard it i thought "i liked that show! and that one! and that one!"

sigh.

It's disappointing to see all the hate for the show. I rather liked it

First of all, It's my b'day today, which is a great day because it is the day "Serenity" movie came out on DVD last year..woohoo...gr8 way to celebrate a b'day, 40th.
Second, I loved Day Break, I couldn't wait to see the next episode every week and see how 1 single action he performs in a day affects something else differently and has to change that the next day.
I hope to see the final episodes and see how it ends.
I agree with the fact that the t.v. execs do not give a show a chance to find it's audience. Let people find the show and develope the fan base.
Anyway, It's my birthday...yay to me.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I also like Day Break, and am disappointed that it didn't click with enough viewers. ABC has promised they will make all seven remaining episodes available as streaming video on their website. Last time I checked this afternoon, the previous four eps were still up, but the oldest of those might be bumped when they add a new one tonight at 9pm Eastern. I suppose they will do this each Wednesday at the same time.

I kind of liked it myself, but I knew it was doomed....Tye Digg's acting is about as horrendous as having a sand encrusted wrench stuck up your ass.

Adam Balwin is a big screen actor for just the big films. Before FF I only remember him in My Bodyguard for TV. I would like to see him in John Dilinger role. Just would fit his size. He needs a tommy gun in both hands blasting at a bank.

"Battle of Serenity, Mal. Besides Zoe here, how many-" "I'm talkin at you! How many men in your platoon came out of their alive".

Hi EmpireX,
You may know this already but yesterday I found out that Keen Eddie is on dvd and it has 6 episodes never seen on it. I bought it as my Christmas gift to myself. Keen Eddie just like Firefly was great (suspense, action, love, good music) and not given a chance. Have a nice day! Elaine

Please! Nobody died last time!
