Did I mention somewhere that my theater folk are doing Godspell next? I guess I must have....

I'm really excited about it, because.... well not only is it a really cool play and we have a great director who knows what she's gonna do with the show... well selfish me, the biggest competition for the major guy parts (he was Joseph in Joseph two years back when I couldnt sing) is doing Evita at local community theater, which means... I have a very real chance at jesus or judas... which excites me.

I admit my atheist self would find it exceedingly ironic and cathartic to play Jesus. I have great respect for the guy, mostly cause of how Hitchhikers guide describes him "a man who thought how great it'd be if we were all nice to each other"........

Anyhoo, just counting my chickens before they hatch, dont mind me.

*Edit: That toys r us comercial is really creepy, glad I am way to young to have seen it as a child, that would have been traumatizing.

In a battle between Spiderman and Batman, my money's on Batman, all the way.

Sure, he's not a strong, nor as fast, nor does he have a biological source for silk that comes from his own body, but Batman is ruthless, whereas Spiderman is not. Batman would go to whatever lengths he needed to in order to win a hypothetical fight, whereas Spidey would probably wuss out when things started going south. And, at least from a historical perspective, Batman isn't afraid to kill Spidey to settle things, while the reverse can't be said with certainty.

Come on, Batman got into a fist fight with Superman and won, for god's sake!

It's a typical Friday here in MD. Not much work to do, so the Adventures in Sitting begins.

Brought my Ipod, got the Internet, Full pot of coffee. I can make it to 4 PM. I think.

Sorry but it is Batman all the way. I mean with Spiderman, he stops and has to think to figure out his next move. Batman is so far ahead in planning that he is always at least 5 moves ahead in any situation (with 5 alternate moves in case the first one fails)

Batman might have gotten the crap beat out of him in the fight, but you can bet he won it. With Spiderman, if he starts to loose he has to flee to come up with a new plan. Sometimes I wonder if his red and blue suit is equipped with Spidey-Diapers!

Anyway, thank you James that's what I'm saying. Spiderman is not a long range planner and he never has a back-up plan whereas Batman's backup-plan has a back-up plan. Plus Spidey's just too nice:)

Hell's Kitten- it's fine, my theory is equally applicable to Superman:)

(msg, you can have Gibbs, I'll take DiNozzo.)

I think they are scary, and unpredictable - and not in a good way. Clowns are NOT to be trusted.

In High School, the first time I walked into a friend's house I almost fainted when I saw her mom's clown collection. The family room must have had 80 clown statues and dolls. Aside from the incredibly poor decorating skills, my skin cawls just thinking back to that horrid day.

Never trust anyone who has a permanently fixed facial expression. Plus there's the whole fake cheerfulness which is likely covering some deep seated insanity. But for me it's not all clowns ( though they do make me vaguely uneasy for the reasons listed above) it's Tim Curry doing IT...and I'm not alone. In the behind the scenes they mentioned that, when he was wearing the costume and make-up, the rest of the cast wouldn't eat with him because he wigged them out.

Mav- really you like DiNozzo better?? I am now profoundly curious as to why.

He *is* nice, isn't he MSG? I think that's why Spider-Man is my favourite hero. He's the one who stays the most like his "normal" persona. Even with his powers in full flow, he's still Peter Parker in a costume. A really nice guy. Decent. And with a great sense of humour.

I don't think DC characters would beat *all* Marvel characters. Batman might win against Spider-Man, but he'd have a hell of a fight on his hands with Punisher. Yes, Batman would plan about a dozen moves in advance yada yada yada, but Punisher gets the job done. He does not allow the job *not* to be done. If he wants to beat someone, he beats 'em.

I really need to stop now. Really.

Now as far as the Punisher goes. See Batman would just do his pounce attack on him and then where would the Punisher be? Not able to pull out his guns he would be up a creek w/o a paddle.

My brother had spiderman bed clothes.

Anyway, how much do you think it would cost to have my blonde head removed. I am having such a blonde day. It took my entire class 40 minutes to realise there was a sign on the door saying our seminar had been cancelled. And I lost my hat.

Hobbleit - You can't blame the seminar thing on being blonde. The entire class was there. Blame it on following the Group.

As far as the hat.... Well we can't be perfect all the time. Sometimes life distracts us from paying attention to our hats!

MSG - Wolverine is cool. But I gotta say that Gambit is the man!

Punisher V Batman - Punisher would be down in like 3 minutes once Batman broke his bottle of Wild Turkey! Punisher would be crying like a baby!
