That's cool & all, but if O'neil from Outland is that highly thought of (#5), why can't a decent DVD of the flick get released????

TWILIGHTSEEKER

I totally agree about Outland. I would love a DVD to add to my Sci Fi collection.

Every time I see Firefly and/or our BDH make the top of another poll or chart I just cheer.

gentle journey all,
twilight seeker

STAPLES

I said to myself before I clicked on the link that, "If Mal is number 1 (which he should be) then Spike Spiegel had better be number 2!" And he was! Super-awesome. If you haven't watched Cowboy Bebop, check it out - if you're not into anime, Bebop is a good place to start.

I also totally agree that the Dark Star crew should've been featured. Outlaw Star is another great space western anime show.

It's on DVD, it's just that the widescreen version isn't anamorphic, and has a vibrating effect when played because it was badly transferred from a laserdisc, the full-frame side is watchable, but none too amazing-looking. I have it, but I want a good (better) copy that I could buy...GRRRR

As much as I loved the Top 5 I walked away thinking....

Keanu Reeves as Spike in a liveaction Cowboy Bebop movie?! WTF?! Followed by a spew of chinese profanity and me texting a friend, who preceeded to outswear me after I told her about it

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.
