Seems I also remember hearing a story that after Jewel was cast as Kaylee, they told her to gain like 20 lbs. Added just a little bit of well fed country girl baby fat chubbyness to her cuteness.

And don't ever tell her that I said she was, therefore, cuter in the Eps than in the BDM, when she went back to the hollow cheeked skinny girl look. I might meet her some day, and I'd like her to smile at me, not slug me...

lesson I have learned the hard way: when people are angling for comments on the way they look, if you don't want to lie, say something nice or refuse to comment. I find it's safest to say something that reflects the effort they've made has been worhtwhile...I am a woman and I find it tedious to go shopping with friends who are insecure about their looks....they want you to tell them that what they have put on somehow has transformed them into a whole new person...It makes being honest a near crime sometimes.
E.g. gorgeous but largely proportioned friend tried on a top recently:
" how does it look"
"It looks great, I love that colour on you"
"It's not too tight?"
"Um, it's supposed to be tight...it's a tight top"
"does it make me look fat"
"I like it, I like the way it looks on you...It doesn't change your proprtions at all"
"Do I look fat?"
"I'm waiting outside"
I personally do not have weightest biases...I refuse to be drawn in to stupidity of it.

Well, sh*t - I'd forgot for a moment how much can get lost in translation when deploying things like irony and sarcasm. Oh you don't have to worry about me I've threaten by experts I have had husbands come after me with clubs and bats because there wife's want to be with me but i use to train the NAVY SEALS in hand to hand combat i have taken on bouncers, Hell's Angle and they all want down Now about all the ones that shell we say want to do me bodily harm that is just venting there anger and the only way to do that online is to type it. So no one has to worry they are just venting. Now i do say what I mean when the king says I'm super intelligent I am when the king says I bench press 550 lbs I can I AM THE REAL DEAL.Now I am surprised that Jewel said that she deals with the public everyday and after all it was just an observation was it the right observation? maybe it was maybe it wasn't but still an observation.In the near future i will be giving my thoughts on were Firefly might have gone if it wasn't canceled so prematurely But for now warehouse 13 is coming on must watch it.
