Codas in film are scenes after the end titles start to roll.
Sometimes excerpts, bloopers, outtakes, deleted clips, and other times intentional spoofs, further storyline content, or dramatic scenes.
Marvel has done a bunch of dramatic scenes, teasers, for upcoming stories in the franchises lately. Civil War had one just after a minute or so of the end titles, and then another at the end of the film. I don't normally describe their dramatic content as spoiler, but many consider it a service to fellow fans to know there is or isn't any, so you can know whether or not to sit through the credits if you are that type of viewer. Guardians of the Galaxy had somewhat humorous clips, and Deadpool had gobs of humor clips. Spy had a well developed spoof of future missions, files, dossiers as background through much of the end credits.
Many Burt Reynolds films of old were known for outtakes, bloopers, etc.

government corruption within the Dept of Justice, and it just felt out of place.
It was like trying to slip in the mayo after making the ham sandwich; it just bogged down the goofiness of Gosling's Holland March - the full time detective and part time dad. Another questionable choice was the use of the actress who played Gosling's daughter, Anjourie Rice (remember that name, this girl is going to be
a star).

She reminded me of a young Jodie Foster. Smart, sassy (still with a way to go for
comic timing, but with a sharp wit and a sharp tongue). The chemistry between her
and Gosling was on par with that of Crowe and his co-star. I got the feeling that the director felt she could give the movie some punch. They found ways to include
her in just about every scene and, although she mostly delivered, both my brother
and I felt it was overkill and blurred the vision of the otherwise entertaining film.
