Regarding Dunkirk - wasn't it a non-battle? Is that what it was famous for? From the trailer, it seems the big deal was that military ships could not save the troops, but it was only common boats, fishermen, who rescued them. Is that the gist?

OK, it looks like there was a Battle of Dunkirk, but this film is not about that, it is about the Dunkirk Evacuation, which was a separate incident.

I am a bit fuzzy about 1940 WWII in Yurp. I'm better with 1941+ or Pacific details from 1940ish.




With Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz under his belt, I should reconsider trying out Baby Driver.

Kate Mara was excellent early on in House of Cards, but yeah, I recently saw the TV trailers for Megan Leavey. Got 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, plus it has a female director, a growing trend since Hurt Locker?

But it was originally the real word, and got a huge laugh, but made an R rating, so it ws one of many scenes edited to get to PG-13. I wonder if Gwen Saves The Day was another of those - otherwise it should have been included in the release.
