Run, walk, crawl, beg, borrow, steal to go see this movie. It's a humdinger of an action super spy flick.

Cruise and company do it again. This is the best MI period! A bit long, but well worth the time, and it flies by. Not a wasted frame in the whole movie. Pacing, action, dialogue, the screen play is so complete that you will be hard pressed to find any flaw or fly in the ointment.

So much is packed into this movie that you may have to see it two more times just
to keep up. So far, the best movie of the summer.

The action flows from scene to scene and is never forced. You get the impression that these events are really happening in the world today. The stunts are awesome
and reach fever pitch for edge-of-your-seat action. It's the sequel to Rogue Nation and it's brilliant in it's follow-up. The cast is up to the task, but Henry Cavill stands out as the newcomer "Walker," a CIA operative. Also Rebecca Ferguson is awesome, once again, as Ilsa (the British spy).

The plot is simple...stop evil doer Solomon Lane from getting his hands on a nuclear weapon, but oh what a suspenseful time our IMF team has in doing so. To give you more would actually spoil the fun. Go and unwrap this early Christmas
gift. Santa will forgive you.

I forgot to give it a rating...4.5 out of 5 stars

I did finally get to see this on a Friday 2 weeks ago, which was 3 weeks after it opened. In the 2nd and 3rd weeks I had tried to, but the shows I went for were still Sold Out.

I agree with everything SGG posted here. I think I've seen all the MIs, and some have been more lackluster or less memorable than others, but this one does better.
I assume it is still showing, so get out of the heat and see this before your summer ends if you haven't already.

Did anybody notice the registration characters on the getaway helicopter on the rooftop of the tall building? They even got pasted above the side cargo door so they'd be in the camera frame.

I noticed something with the cinematography which seemed unusual. I got the impression it was residue from 3D filming, even tho I saw it 2D. TC's face looked a bit puffy in many head-on shots, seemed to be projecting disproportionately forward of the background, as if emphasizing or exaggerating the depth of field - or maybe he was doing too many of his own stunts for fight scenes. It didn't seem too outrageous, since all MIs seem to have folk pulling off face contour masks every other scene, but I haven't heard if anybody else noticed.
I don't consider this to be SPOILER: I kept thinking the whole film, everybody is getting played. Keep paying attention to the puzzles while watching.
Some of the scenes were not plausible, but easy enough to overlook.

Thanks to SGG for getting in a coherent review early on.

After taking some shots at Tom Cruise doing his own stunts and skydives in "Mission: Impossible - Fallout," Tom takes James to the California desert to show him jumping out of an airplane isn't as easy as it looks.

Corden is incredibly delusional, ignorant, out-of-touch of reality. How did he manage to gay-up this bit?
