I've been thinking for some time now, about certain films which exhibit certain traits, but I have not focused enough on how to describe them. And still haven't. Usually just beyond the grasp of my thoughts, off the tip of my tongue. When I suss it out, I'll update the title.
Something like Alternate Reality, a non-mainstream perspective or experience. Possibly a state of mind, or skill of mind and senses. Paranormal or extrasensory.
Some of them have a common thread of Psychiatrist delusions.

Primary examples:
Phenomenon (based on autobiography Communion)
K-PAX
The Last Mimzy
The Sixth Sense
Suspect Zero (focusing on Ben Kingsley's role)
The Entity (based on actual events)
Little Man Tate
12 Monkeys
Firefly/Serenity (as per River's abilities)
Arrival
Midnight Special
Gifted
Terminator series

Maybe:
Michael
Memento (I cannot recall well enough the overarching plot mechanism)
Inception
City of Lost Children
The Ghost Whisperer - the actual events it was based upon

I know you didn't like the movie, but you've got to add Jacob's Ladder to the list.

Possible additions to your list, although I'm not exactly sure where you're going with this yet, would be Event Horizon and In The Mouth of Madness. And if ITMoM would fit, you might also consider Dagon. But I'm not sure if Lovecraftian flicks fall under what you were going for here or how wide a net you're trying to cast.

What about They Live? The Thing?

A Non-Horror flick that might be added to your list could be The Game, with Michael Douglas. Maybe The Truman Show?

BTW... I heard somebody else talk about "Bottle Films" the other day, and they had a lot of movies on that list that we were building for the "Diorama" films. I like our name for it better, but I think for the dummies out there "Bottle Films" are probably a better name.

Mad Philosopher, Crazy Prophet or Mad Scientist is a Theme, Plot Element, Cliche almost as old as Time

Terminator, she wasnt crazy the world just didnt believe her like Greek Cassandra but instead she was thrown in a mental institution

K-Pax...Kevin Spacey is probably a rapists club and a pedophile, he hangs out with Maxwell
maybe 'Seven' was ok but like Woody Allen the actor always gave me the creeps, LA Confidential was a good watch

Gifted sounds like Short Term 12 dont think I will watch it or it sounds like a Child Custody version of Hidden Figures

Body Snatchers, again no delusion “Pod People” are making clones and have taken over

Sixth Sense wasnt a Delusion he just talked with real Ghosts

Arrival I dont think you understood it

Joker is a dumb movie for Faggots

Inception is basically 'The Matrix' or Neuromancer but you dont know how deep you are on the inside...maybe you could class it as Ambiguity Mindfuck Dream-Like Psychological-manipulation MindBending ...I thought it was meh

They Live and 'The Thing' remake are interesting
The Thing very body snatchers like, did scifi movies inspire Neuromancer's dystopia world, maybe the book inspired 'They Live' Carpenter?

I should apologize for not being clear, I was not trying to be confusing. I was concerned about this lack of clarity, and part of the reason I did not post this for the last few years I thought about it.
I had planned to break down, explain why or how the films I included so far fit into what I was trying to define. But I have not got there yet. I will change "perspective" to perception in the title, which I had intended.

Thank you for the reply, and trying to poke some suggestions in.

As I recall, most of what was shown onscreen was hallucinations induced by drugs. Although some folk might blur the distinction between hallucination, delusion and the abilities/talents that I am including here, this is not really what I'm going for.

As I recall, not any extraordinary mental ability or experience. Was there? I may havebeen too distracted by Rose Byrne.

Have not seen Mouth of Madness, hadn't seemed interesting. I might look into that.
Not sure of all the subject matter of Lovecraft. But Dean Koontz would definitely mostly fit - although most of his is largely written as fiction, even if fact-based.

Thing had no advanced mental abilities, and They Live just had visual effects that could de-cloak, IIRC.

I don't recall The Game.
Truman didn't have special abilities, he was just a victim.

When time, I'll look into bottle movies.

Yes.
I suspect that any film portraying a Cassandra Complex would likely fit into this group.
