This is a very elegantly well crafted film. All scenes are within the Tailor's Shop.
Somewhat whodunnit, somewhat mind games, somewhat puzzle solver, I didn't feel it got overdramatic.

I really don't want to ruin it with spoilers.

I don't recall seeing Zoey Deutch as redhead before.
I don't know where I recall Mark Rylance from, although I must have seen him in Blitz and in Ready Player One.

But I will say, I really think that all of the pertinent clues were actually present on screen. Some clues were obvious enough for me to see the foreshadowing, but not all. So if you really pay attention to all of the scenes, you might suss out the ending better and quicker than I did.

This may be the best film of the year, so far. Althought the copyright date was 2021. I could give it at least 4 out of 5 stars. Not 5 stars, due to the lack of "spectaƧle" like Free Guy.

Movies today have no word of mouth staying power, perhaps a lack of DVD, HD, Blu-Ray and no big tv release

I kind of talked about this in one of the other threads the other night.

I think it's the overabundance and ease of access.

If you missed something in the 80's and 90's and before then, you missed it. You had no guarantee that you'd ever get to see it again, or when. I'm barely old enough to remember when Disney would only re-release their movies in the theaters every 10 or 20 years or so, and saw movies like Bambi in the theater, before Disney released them in those big hard shell VHS cases in the "Disney Vault", and even when they did that they were limited release every 5 or 10 years or so.

If you missed an episode of a TV show before DVDs were a thing, you didn't know if you'd ever see it again. A lot of shows never got syndicated and put on re-runs. And even when TV shows came out on DVDs, you were paying $100 to $150 for one season of The Sopranos or X-Files.

I remember wanting to see Spaceballs so bad when it came to Cable TV, but they never showed it during the day. I actually taught myself how to program the ancient VCR to record it at 2:30AM while we were all sleeping. My brothers watched that tape until it wore out.

Think about shows like Dr. Who, and the dozens and dozens of seasons its had since the 60's. To this day, you can't ever watch the entire run of that show. They've been able to cobble together bits and pieces of the first 11 seasons, but there are still 97 episodes missing.

But She-Hulk: Attorney and Law and Secret Invasion will be with us, forever!
