I saw this on 9 November, opening weekend - sorry for the delayed post.

I had not heard about it until seeing showtimes listed at a cinema. Poster was not impressive at all. However, poster did have Morena's name, so I checked the trailer, thought it should be interesting, and decided to see it.

Produced by Anthony Mackie. Morena Baccarin was Exec Producer.

It had seemed similar to Quiet Place, and it was. Not as good as QP 1 or 2, but if you liked those you might like this.

I didn't understand why it wasn't more of a draw. I didn't recall if Mackie had some bad press, divorce or diddling some kid. Finally remembered that he is Black Captain America, so the Woke Mind Virus got him.

I expected more action. Much of the first half of the film is slow setup. Looking back, the scenes took a lot of time, the setup was not conveyed efficiently. I have not watched TV shows in years, maybe this was the pacing expected by TV these days.

When the action came, it was better, but still lots of standard dumb stuff to provide drama.

If you see this, I think pay attention to the last scene, with the telescope.

I was hoping this would land in my top 10 for the year, but I'm not sure it will, even with the dearth of decent films this year. I don't see anything upcoming this year that might be better (already saw Red One).
I don't recall the last film that was better, so this might be the best offering of the fall.
