Are movies being made in 2026? I don't have interest in Snow Brown's 7 Mongeloid friends and Gay Robot Dog visiting the Lesbian+ Witch sharing a slipper vwith Bipoc Cinderella with Soccer Barbie and Girlboss Ariel.

Good luck buddy... Digger is the only one on the list I don't know, and all of the ones I do know I can't watch.

I'm really mad about the Spider-Man one too. That would be the one movie I was excited about this year after No Way Home killed it, but I would never watch anything with Mark Ruffalo in it again.

Maybe they'll surprise us and put Ed Norton back in the role. That would be nice.

And the Odyssey is based off of a 2017 feminist's reinterpretation of the story.

ick.

I'm kind of interested in seeing what Zack Cregger does with Resident Evil.

I can't imagine it could be any worse than the Mila movies or that terrible streaming show they made a few years ago.

Weapons was great. Barbarian... not so much.

Although if Cregger made Barbarian with the intention of trolling the audience who is conditioned to sit through the credits to see post-credit scenes, I have to give him an extra point or two on the 10 point scale just for his ending. Because the 3 or 4 extra shots you see of the woman walking away in between the beginning of the credits popping up on screen gave you the impression that there was more to the movie and then... nothing.

That was the biggest laugh I got out of the whole movie.

It ended just as badly and abruptly as The Surfer and several other low-budget indies I've seen recently by blasting a title card in your face when you weren't expecting the movie to end. So I'm fairly sure those additional, entirely unnecessary shots of her walking away spliced in between the credits was a big troll on his part.

Saw Mandalorian and Grogu today.

I liked it but don’t feel the need to see it again in a theater. Haven’t felt the need to see a movie more than once in a theater in years. Will watch it again on tv or dvd.

I never saw the series and did not really become invested in the two main (Mandalorian and Grogu) characters until long into the movie. So I think I’ll like the movie a lot more when I see it again.

Off to watch a YouTube on all the Easter eggs I missed in the movie…

Thanks for the input, buddy.

You don't talk much, but when you do it's always sounded reasonable.

The fact that this movie was actually good makes me all the more happier that it flopped.

Disney still has some lessons that it needs to learn. They have proven in the past that they are very capable. They just need to fire all the wrong people and finally get the right people in there to be making all of this stuff.

They betrayed everyone. And especially with Star Wars. We had the opportunity to have all of our heroes to be together on screen one last time and they couldn't even give us that. And now without the use of some AI abomination (like they did already use for Carrie Fisher), it would be impossible to ever even have a do-over.

What they did is unforgivable. And nobody has even tried to apologize for any of it.

Saw Supergirl on Tuesday.

It was great. Almost feel like seeing it again in a theater but it is so expensive especially when I got a wagyu slider with tomato jam, popcorn and a drink.

Wish they still had pizza.

My sister’s library gives her a receipt that says how much she saved this trip and how much she saved this year by going to the library.

Does your library do that?

Money wise? No. I just receipts that tell me when something will be due and if there is anything on hold for me.
