The buzz around this film is that it's really rather good. I'm quite interested in this as it's Drew Goddard's project and I remember his Buffy stories were among the better ones.

Nice to see he was given the chance to direct a film.

So does this mean it's finally getting released? I've been hearing about this movie for at least 3 or 4 years. Wasn't it part of the "MGM has no money so they can't release anything" thing that is also holding up the remake of Red Dawn? That movie can languish in limbo for all I care, but I would like to eventually get to see Cabin in the Woods.

Interesting poster. I wonder if it's just meant to convey that the movie is a twist on what's expected or if there's actually some sort of issue with reality in the movie.

A friend just pointed me to a trailer. Not what I expected...meaning not just Joss making fun of the campy horror genre, like Dale and Tucker vs. Evil did.
