Yeah. And I did say don't be surprised if it fluctuates and goes down from time to time too.

Bruce is showing $249,125,713 right now. Last time we looked it was $249,152,645.

Not a huge loss, but it DID finally happen.

At least he didn't take $8 Million + from Sound of Freedom like he did from Five Night's at Freddy's last week.

Hey JSF...

Sound of Freedom made $250 Million. (1,724% of the budget)

$250,150,221 on The-Numbers right now.

It's still too close to that number for my liking since we just saw it lose $200k last week, but at least it temporarily hit the mark.

Domestic 73.6% / International 26.4%

Yes. Bruce posted this last night.
And when you learn to math, you will find that equates to 1,725% of 14.5

BOM updated Monday, which shows that in the last 2 weeks, Germany added $100K, France restored the money that disappeared last week, and is up $1.3M, Hong Kong added $128K, Netherlands added 60K in 1 week.

No. Until the movie is done, I'm just taking the nearest Million from rounding as I always have.

It's 1,724% now, and could very easily lose enough money in the next few weeks to be back under 250%.

Hell... It could lose a few million by next week. Five Nights at Freddy's lost $8 Million last week. I've seen Disney movies lose $10 Million from week to week.

Don't be a cunt. I'm far better at math than you are.

I'm far better at math than you are.

Not sure if this statement was intended as sarcasm, or hyperbole, or something else.
But at face value, this sentence is EXTREMELY unlikely to be statistically accurate.
In fact, laughably so.

Real math stubbornly adheres to facts. Unlike some who pretend to math when they can't math.
If you want to improve, you should learn about Significant Digits - which might be a lost art form.

After we posted that first figure, that $27K drop was posted either that same day, or the day after. France also had about $700K vanish from their Box Office take.

Adding the approx $1.6M I listed since then, that would be about $250.7M currently, when it is still churning out Box Office. And France still has more theaters added each week.

I'm only a detail guy when it matters these days. You'd better get your OCD in check.

I only use real math when I'm putting together my table for all movies, and I assure you that when the 2023 box office is officially over that everything will be accurate.

From the very beginning in this thread when I started putting the daily percentages for the top movies in relation to Sound of Freedom, I ALWAYS rounded up or down to the nearest Million and did the division with the production budget. I never saw the point of spending the time keeping everything completely accurate because the numbers changed so much and there was absolutely NOTHING that depended on the accuracy afforded by simplifying things with rounding here.

That's still true to this day. Whether SoF made 1,724% or 1,725% makes absolutely ZERO difference in the 2023 ranking.

The official list will have accurate numbers. Until then, shut the fuck up already.

Meanwhile, my predictions were just about spot on, especially internationally and especially compared to yours. And my early Domestic/International percentage split was almost perfect because of that.

I knew extremely early on that $230 Million was a sure thing before it even opened in Brazil and always considered $250 Million a possibility even if it was a long shot. It was only during the last month or so when the international numbers really slowed down that I thought it wasn't going to happen.

But here we are... Enough money eventually added up overseas to push it over $250 Million. And we don't (and won't ever) even know if this is because it actually made a few more million in sales on the tail end or if it benefited positively this time from Flux.

Whether or not it finishes above $250 Million is anyone's guess since it's not going to be pulling in NEW millions anymore and Bruce's international numbers can still be in flux 6 months after a movie is out of theaters.

Yup. That's two small-ish drops so far. But don't celebrate $250 Million until it's officially over.

I've been tracking a LOT of movies in 2023 and I've noticed HUGE week to week drops for many of them after they've fallen so far in the Domestic box office that the money made here doesn't offset whatever currency conversion or what the hell else goes on when Bruce is always changing those international numbers until they're officially locked in.

Like I said, Five Nights at Freddy's lost $8 Million overnight last week. I believe it was Guardians of the Galaxy that lost over $10 Million one week. The $8 Million FNAF loss is particularly concerning to SoF's final numbers because their worldwide gross is so similar. A $27k drop yesterday could be a $3 Million drop next week.

I'm hoping it doesn't happen and that SoF finishes with $250 Million, but we're not really going to know the truth until probably around late May/early June of next year, since that's when I'll feel comfortable putting up the FINAL numbers on the official Top 100 chart after seeing how many of the movies that wrapped up in the 1st quarter of this year were still fluctuating 6 months later.

I wish that Bruce would put something in his tables that signified when a movie was officially locked down and the numbers weren't going to change anymore. Or at least he went into great detail somewhere on his site about how and why those numbers change so much for so long after the movie has long been out of theaters, and when he feels you could safely considered a movie's numbers final even if he didn't officially state that himself.

Bottom line is, $250 Million plus a few dollars is anything but Safe. Don't be surprised if SoF ends up less than $250 Million in the end.

Looks like it went up again this week. Barely.

$250,257,604

Still not in the safety zone. But at least it didn't go down.

Two Competing Groups of Conspiracy Theorists Claim to Lead the Michigan Republican Party

Maybe–state Chair Kristina Karamo is in hot water for giving too much money to the star of Sound of Freedom, among other things. Her opponents, for the record, are also weird.

Amid all of this, she authorized a $110,000 payment to Passion of the Christ and Sound of Freedom star Jim Caviezel for his September appearance at a conference on Mackinac Island. (Karamo and her supporters say the party’s financial issues are the fault of previous leaders.)

In the meantime, Karamo seems to have the support of the national far right, including, let’s see here, an internet personality named Mr. Sausage and this group, which says she was “ordained by God to put an end to Human Trafficking.” (In today’s Republican Party, stuff like that is important!) Human Trafficking was the plot for Sound of Freedom.

Won what?

Best American Picture at the Septimius Awards?

Mexicans aren't voting for Biden*, so who's left after you already lost the blacks too?

You've got college kids and white suburban women. That's all you got left.
