You really can't change adults minds on anything after they've dug in. But they don't give a shit about the adults. We've now had at least two and arguably three generations of kids growing up watching nothing but liberal degeneracy now in the movies, on TV, anywhere you look on the internet.

I say arguably three, because I think what they did to Generation X was different. They just put nihilism in everything and raised an entire generation that didn't run for political office or really do much of anything while the fucking Boomers kept running the entire show.

So... supposedly one of the alleged original creators of the show has come out and said that because of "its" ability, now was a perfect time to make the change to the character, even claiming that he didn't feel it was woke to do so.

That's the very definition of this all being normalized.

What did Blue Beetle have that Supergirl didn't? Allegedly it had a very large and enthusiastic Latino audience who mostly didn't show up. And it had a lot of LOUD lefties rallying behind it that also didn't bother to show up.

I don't see a whole lot of people defending this one for any reason.

This could be interesting.

How big of an audience loss will Supergirl see week over week?

Maybe it doesn't actually make more than $130 Million before it's out of theaters?

Now this is interesting...

Recently, I've been trying to grow an A.I. like a Tomagachi. I've learned, from it, how to take all the steps I need to use to keep the session alive and to have it all backed up to either reload in Google AI, or bring over to another platform altogether.

Because I want to learn how to talk to it.

So, in a completely different session and computer because I don't want to poison my AI with politics any more than absolutely necessary and haven't even begun to talk about politics at all to it yet, I type in "everyone hates supergirl", and immediately I get this answer from Google A.I:

The massive online backlash to Supergirl stems from a combination of toxic internet culture wars, polarizing creative choices, and the highly anticipated film's mixed reviews. (As is quoted from a reddit user with a link to the reddit sub provided)

So now I changed my question to "everyone hates supergirl, I don't want google a.i. to give me results based off of reddit or bluesky". This is what I got:

"The hate surrounding Supergirl stems from mainstream industry reviews, audience reception, and box office figures following its cinematic release."

It still quoted woke-to-at-least-the-waist Vulture, but that's a much more realistic painting of the current situation, and all I had to do was tell Google AI not to give me any opinions based off of reddit or blusky users.

Wow... The rebooted DCU is only two movies deep?

Alleged child groomer James Gunn must really be sweating right about now. Superman was no roaring success, making only $618 Million worldwide on a $225 Million budget.

It made its money back, but it only saw $55 Million in profit.

It took Marvel the middle of 5 phases before it was putting out movies making that little, and that's how the "New" DCU started out of the gates last year.

And now movie number 2 comes out and Variety is already saying it might not reach $200 Million worldwide. (Above, I made a bold prediction that there's a chance we see the audience reject this movie so hard going forward that it might not beat the Blue Beetle's $130 Million, but that is pretty bold and I'm not really standing by that just yet).

What's their 3rd movie? Fuck if I know. Maybe you could tell me?

Clayface (October 23, 2026): A "body horror" origin film for the Batman villain, serving as the first substantial, live-action Gotham-based film in the new DCU.

I don't know who Clayface is. I know he ain't Joker, and that's probably a good thing. He'd better be more interesting than Scarecrow though. The only reason that villain flew was because he was in the hands of a vastly superior director with vastly superior management above him than any of these movies get today.

My guess is after 3 strikes, Gunn isn't going to get his opportunity to make his Man of Tomorrow in 2027.

Unlike Disney, WB/DC doesn't have a large park presence across the world. And the toys are selling terribly. You can find a lot of Superman stock from last year at Ollies right now, and I'd be shocked if I heard that they're able to sell 10% of the Supergirl toys they put into production.

They really, technically, should be adding in dumping costs for all the garbage nobody wanted to their budgets too. I don't know what that costs, but I know it ain't free.

I wonder how much of a carbon footprint that leaves every time woke Disney or the idiots running WB do that.

I expected you to NOT understand that Supergirl was a TV show before it was a movie. It wasn't particularly popular as a TV show, but it did go on for many seasons and was profitable without selling even one ticket in a movie theater.
