Likes to mess with stuffs.

Just a reminder, the digitally remastered Battlestar Galactica premiere is showing on SCIFI today. For those of you who don't remember, like Firefly, BG is also a Western/SCI-FI hybrid.

JORGASNAROVA

Digitally remastered it might have been, but it looked and sounded no better than it usually does on my digital cable TV and the prints were the same sliced-up schlock the Sci Fi Channel has been running for years.

Looking critically at the pilot, have to admit editing, acting, and direction were all pretty deficient. And the robot Daggit...cringe.

SFC will continue to run Galactica through February and will run Galactica 1980 next month.

A four-hour remake/reimagination of the pilot episode of Galactica for the Sci Fi Channel, written by Ron Moore of Roswell and Star Trek Deep Space Nine fame is currently being cast.
In Moore's version, "Starbuck" and "Apollo" are the character's radio-call-signs rather than their actual names, and Starbuck is a woman.

As Kara "Starbuck" Thrace...Katee Sackhoff, from Halloween Resurrection.

As Lee "Apollo" Adama...Jamie Bamber from "Band of Brothers."
