Last week's episode "Unquiet Dead" has a great moment early on when Rose comes back from getting changed; Doctor: "You look beautiful...considering." Rose: "Considering what?" Doctor: "Considering you're human." Rose then questions why the Doctor doesn't change his outfit and he points out that he did change his jumper (sweater)...after which Rose insists on going out of the TARDIS first, since this is her first time stepping into the past...hence the shot they cut to of her carefully placing her foot in the snow. Minor stuff, but great character detail in the scene.

Quote:I didn't know that! That really pisses me off!!! Money grubbing bastards!!! Frelling Scifi channel!!! Quote: Fortunately the original shows run between 42 and 44 minutes as it is, so SciFi doesn't cut much, maybe a minute or two. What I really hate are when shows that run a full 30 or 60 minutes in England get brought over here and have between 10 and 20 minutes cut to make time for commercials (A&E is famous for that). You can't cut a third of a program and expect it to still make sense! "Jayne is a girl's name" - River

It'll be interesting to see if Sci-Fi keeps "the kiss" in (those who've seen it will know what I'm referring to).

What do I mean by British? The humour is dry and some things are assumed which I don't exactly enjoy... and, it's MOM, not mum! ;) Even so, I still say it's better than half the TV shows out there.

I watched bootlegs from England last year as the series unfoled and it was awesome!

After his fantastic performance as the Doctor in the Christmas invasion I found his work here to be deeply unimpressive. Not only did he go “BIG” far to often but I didn’t believe him in the more heroic or heart felt moment eider. I would be interested to know if this was filmed before the Christmas Invasion or after. If it was before its possible that he hadn’t quite settled in the role of the Doctor yet. -------------------------------------------------- Who do you suppose is in there?
