I'm pleased to announce that my Star Trek: Enterprise short story "You Are Not In Space" has been selected for inclusion in the upcoming anthology Strange New Worlds 10 from Pocket Books (an imprint of Simon & Schuster).

Here is the official announcement from the company's website:

Although the book will not be released until this summer, it is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com:

Those of you who want to keep up with what happens next can continue to check back here for more posts (since I imagine I'll mention anything major to my fellow Browncoats ) and/or read my LiveJournal, as I'll be tracking any further developments there:

Please feel free to spread the news around--mention it to any fannish people you know, repost it liberally on other lists/groups/boards, that sort of thing. It can only help in the long run, and I would definitely appreciate your getting the word out.

Shiny!

Now I gotta find SNW 9 (freakin' Canada is over a year behind the Strange New Worlds books; I just got 8 not too long ago).

We applied the cortical electrodes but were unable to get a neural reaction from either patient.

I'm in Canada, too, and I can tell you that we're not behind the States at all:

I'm not sure if you're in a major city or not (I'm in Winnipeg), as that might affect how accessible this title would be in bookstores, but SNW 9 came out at the same time here as it did south of the 49th parallel...

For those of you who've evolved beyond the need for primitive physical books, you'll be happy to know that Strange New Worlds 10 is now also available as an Amazon Kindle Book:

Feel free to enjoy it in whatever format makes you happiest... ;)

Just to keep this vaguely on-topic, though, the Serenity novelisation is available on Amazon Kindle as well:
