I just got finished re-watching all the episodes of Dark Skies via stage6.com, and I have to say that it was every bit as great as I remembered from its first airing!
Since it appears we'll never see a DVD release now, because of music rights issues, I've now got the whole thing safely tucked away in the depths of my hard drive. MWAHAHAHAHAHAaaaaaaa... ha.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I love Dark Skies. Used to have it all on tape, but gave those to my son. Now there is no telling where they are, probably somewhere among his mother's storage space in Colorado, with him in California and me in Texas. I would love for those music rights to be cleared up, and Bryce Zabel even had alternate music picked out but the studio wouldn't go for it. I've heard about Stage6 before, now there's a very good reason to check it out.

The road to Hel is paved with good intentions

I loved Dark Skies! Along with My So Called Life, Dark Skies was one of the first shows I watched religiously and was heartbroken when it was cancelled before its time.
Sad to say, it wasn't the last show it happened to!

I'd love for the show to be released on dvd, I hope they can sort out the music rights somehow. I know they've had trouble with shows like Millennium and Roswell in the past, but they've both been released now. Hopefully the same can be done with Dark Skies
I bought some bootleg dvds off ebay a while back cos I was desperate. I did record them off of tv but sadly the quality weren't great.

Oh, and I'd never heard of Stage6 til now. Now after visiting and being impressed I've found out they're shutting it down!

Good thing I saved all the Dark Skies eps when I did!
Now I have to finish up Neon Genesis: Evangelion by the 28th!
