DNR is the devil, but this is what you get when so many complain about excessive film grain, and "soft image". The studio tampers with the film instead of staying true to the respective source.
Proper restoration is what every film deserves with no edge enhancement, or grain removal. After all Blu-Ray is the last stop in a movie medium. A picture that can rival(or duplicate) the actual film source.
