"Inception The App "takes your surrounding sonic world -- background noise, your voice, etc. -- and alters it, lending an echoing depth, mixing in familiar music from the film (including the 'Dream Is Collapsing' theme that features former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr), and so forth."

We tried it here at Cinematical headquarters, and it's freaky. Real freaky. The app is also a game, and the more simulated dream environments you enter, the more you unlock. All we know is that we were inside one dreamworld for about 10 seconds before our voice and our movements (anything as gentle as lightly swinging our arm) became distorted and amplified in our ears set to a very strange melodic tone. Definitely more of an "experience" than something you could walk around and listen to. Still worth the free download -- you folks would have fun with this."

I can confirm that it is a bit freaky and a fun way to remember the film - I couldn't stop laughing when I first tried it. Thing is those laughs got remixed and replayed and looped and they made me laugh even harder. I'm looking forward to taking it to the mall with xmas music and noise and hearing what that sounds like.
