There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Just got back from seeing this great Spanish psychological ghost story. Executive produced by Guillermo del Toro, directed by J. A. Bayona, written by Sergio G. Sanchez, and with an incredible performance by Belén Rueda.

If you liked last year's Pan's Labyrinth, you are going to love your visit to The Orphanage. But please, don't complain about having to read subtitles.

I was told they were completely different entities. Where Pan’s Labyrinth was more psychological fantasy, The Orphanage was a more horror. I’m not really a big horror fan, but I loved Pan’s Labyrinth. I’m kind of torn about whether to see this.

I didn't mean to imply they were that similar in storyline. El Orfanato is more psychological suspense than horror, no graphic gore.

Gore doesn’t bother me. Except that it’s usually stupid. But I worry about horror films that don’t need gore, because those sometimes scare the bejesus out of me.
