Oh . . . dear . . .

No offense, but that movie, to me, was one of the biggest wastes time . . . . ever. And yes . . . pun intended.

There's something wrong with anyone who doesn't like Somewhere In Time. Sappy? Yes, but also sad, wonderful, and heartbreaking.

When does Kwicko plan on watching The Princess Bride?

Ummmm... I don't.

I mean, I don't "PLAN" for it. I'll watch it when it's on sometime. I'll DVR it. I'm definitely not going to plan my time around it or go rent it.

Have you seen "Stardust" yet? I'm told they're comparable. I loved Stardust.

If disliking that movie is wrong . . . I don't wanna be right.

Wow. Looks like I'm in a minority on that one. I just found it strangely unsatisfying on so many levels.

Ah well. If we're talking time travel movies, I'd much rather watch Back to the Future, Time Bandits, Frequency (kinda sorta), Time After Time . . . .and I'm sure a plethora of others that are escaping me right now.

EDIT** - We cross posted, Kwick. This reply is in response to Somewhere in Time.

Stardust was a very entertaining movie, but I think I have to watch it again to get a better feel for it. Not up to par with Princess Bride, though. Sorry. That probably puts more hype on it Do a search on your DVR for it or pick it up at the library or video store. If you love Patinkin, you'll really enjoy it.

They're comparable as fantasies, but Princess Bride is a bit funnier IMO.
