Just am now seeing it. What an instant classic. Claudia Black... I can't get enough of her.

Flux capacitors!

" How can something which has worked for 10 years suddenly stop working ? "

GREAT ep!!

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

"How am I supposed to do a movie without my lead character?!?"
"That's easy, bring someone in to replace him."
*beat*
"What?"

The Farscape parody made me choke on my popcorn.

Then there was Peter Deluise's bleeped performance over the closing credits.

I missed this episode when it first came out, but I recall folks talking about it. Was there any consensus on whether or not there was any FIREFLY references , and if so , what were they? I may have missed a few lines here or there.

I loved Vala's line about a 'one glaring omission' on the current sci-fi available on t.v.

It's been a while since I saw the episode but as I recall there was some talk about a movie being made from a tv show that had been cancelled, and someone commented that the show did quite well on dvd.

Wormhole X-Treme was already on the air, as I recall, and the whole point of '200' was the making of the movie. They ended the show with a comment that the series had gotten an extension, and then flashed forward 10 yrs, where word had come that the movie deal had finally been made. Seems that could have been either a reference to Star Trek or Firefly, though neither really fits the scenario.

Actually, Wormhole X-Treme had been cancelled, but DVD sales got them a movie deal. Then, at the end of the episode, Martin gets the phone call telling him that, instead of a movie, they've been picked up for another series.

Someday, Joss will get that same call. I have faith. Then, ten years down the line. . .

Actually I think this part of the show was about them. They are going to be doing at least two direct to DVD movies. Also, it's been announced that there will be another SG-1 series, called Stargate: Universe.

But there were many wonderful references to other shows including our Firefly and this ep was great fun to watch. I taped it and often watch it just because...

I'm hoping that these direct to DVD movies being done for SG-1 and also B5 will open up possibilities for us, if we're not going to have a BDSequel greenlighted for the big screen ( not saying yet I believe we won't, just being cautiously realistic here... ).

From here to the eyes and the ears of the 'Verse!
