I'm considering purchasing a few episodes of Stargate SG-1 from Itunes. Namely, the ones with Morena Baccarin in them. :biggrin:

Of course that in itself is a great reason to buy them, ;) but I've never seen the show before so I was wondering if you guys think it would be worth it. Also, the episodes featuring Morena Baccarin, is she on camera most of the time or just briefly here and there?

Oh, and a very brief description about what this goram show is about would be really helpful. :)

I've only seen her in a couple of eps, but damn...she's pretty. :biggrin: Not sure if that helps you at all, but the more Morena, the better.

In the episodes Morena is in she is on screen for a fair amout of time.

I would buy the whole series, but that's just me.

As for the brief description, it's a show about a bunch of humans and one or two aliens who travel through wormholes to other planets and encounter different aliens(Mostly Humanoid), It has just enough action to keep the shows interesting, and enough story to keep you comming back for more.

Yeh. There all good. The first 7 seasons are real good. The show now goes in a different direction but Morena adds spice.

I am in the process of buying the whole series. :smile: I highly recommend it. It has an integral group of characters that you come to care for, just as Firefly does. It's much more traditional sci-fi, because there are aliens, and of course, it's not Joss, but it's fun!

If you were a Farscape fan, you'll be delighted to learn that Ben Browder and Claudia Black were in last season of SG-1 and will be returning this season. Morena is very good on this show and lovely as ever.

I also receommend Stargate Atlantis and Jewel will be playing an ongoing role on it this year.

Are you a fan of BSG? Mark Shepherd ( our very own Badger ) was recently featured on it and wow was he good!

I think I've heard that Adam has a new pilot being shot and of course Summer Glau is in The 4400 and another show... someone fill in the name I can't remember please...?

And of course, Nathan's new show Drive premieres on Fox this next weekend!

So many good 'Verse actors and so much good scifi to watch. Now if they'd just give us a BDSequel and REALLY keep our actors busy!

Are you referring to 'The Unit'? The military show?

Thank you, it was The Unit I couldn't remember. Oh, yeah... and the Terminator spin off too.

I read on Whedonesque that Zoic is doing the fx on that show too. Firefly alumni everywhere!

I would reccomend buying more than just those eps, especially if you have not seen it before, you may not get some parts of the show. It is good, it can be serious and laugh at itself at the same time.
