America loves a winner!

Latest episode, Dr Keller(Jewel) and Teyla visit Teyla's home planet, and find her people are missing. They run into a band of bad folks, almost Reaver bad, that Teyla thinks wiped out her people. Jewel plays the scared doctor, reluctant to fight for her life, as she's had no training or experience in combat. Reminded me a lot of her getting scared in 'War Stories'. She really does the scared act well. I liked that Jewel got to co star this episode almost entirely w/ a main character. The more time on screen she gets, the more she can show off her talents. She's showing everyone that she's worth far more than a few lines here and there every other episode.

Oh, prob been posted in the other thread,what ever, but this is a great interview w/ Jewel on the set of SG. She mentions FF quite a bit, even shows clips of Kaylee and of the cat pee couch!

I think Jewel is doing a marvelous job on SG-A and I think they'll use her more and more as time goes by.

They have chosen their new doctor well.

That was nice to watch. I am sure Jewel will do great in this series. We may never see these people in Firefly again, but they are out there and will be working on other projects for us to enjoy.

Well, it was an interesting interview as I hadn't heard about the cat pee sofa. I like Jewel in any role she plays but since I don't have tv and have not seen any episodes of any Stargate series, I can't add any other comments.

Wow! Jewel was awesome in the last episode! (04E07). Whoever said she can't act, I will shoot him myself. :) Sigh. Not a day goes by Jewel don't grow on me more. Not a one.
