Okay, i take it everyone hates FOX'S guts, so this thread is to allow you all to rant all you want. Now, FOX CAN KISS MY METAL BUTT!!!! They cancell every good show they have on for that reality CRAP!!!!!!! And then they wonder why people rant on, and on about there decision making, FOX here it is, YOUR "DECISIONS" FRACKING SUCK!!!!!!! Not only do you cancell shows that bring a new vertualy endless fanbase, but you act like it's natural, it's NOT!! Then to top it off, you put on crap like American Idol, and other reality show, or talent shows, if we wanted that we'd go to our schools,the only people who watch these shows are people who can't get there own ideas in there minds, and have everyone else tell them what to do.

No. You are not the peanut gallery. Actually we rant in just about any thread that mentions Firefly and if it will ever be brought back. So a special thread for the purpose is redundant. I think the ranting has gone down over the years. But it would take someone counting the posts and getting a percentage of rants to see if that is true. I know personally I have done my share. The rants always goes up when the season nears an end and people learn their favorite shows are not going to be renewed. It seems FOX will pick up a show that has some imagination and then place on the Friday night time slot and not give it much backing and say that the ratings are not good enough, and poof it is gone. There, a little rant right at the end.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I will be upset forever about Firefly's cancellation, but I don't do FOX SUX rants too often. Main reason is they are no worse than any other network in this regard.

Just this past season we lost Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone off of ABC, both canceled on the same day and for the same reason. They were not promoted properly and the long hiatus between the strike-shortened season and new episodes made anyone who wasn't a truly loyal fan forget about them. Not repeating them in the summer of '08 certainly did not help either. The CW canceled Reaper for essentially the same reason, and the previous year NBC made my list for canceling Journeyman.

Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that the worst part of the situation is that I am destined to be attracted to shows that do not have a wide appeal. But at least the networks occasionally give us something to be excited about, even if we know it won't last too long. I will always prefer to have a little bit of a great show than a lot of a bad one, and it is certainly better than nothing at all.

Just imagine a world in which the little we did get of Firefly never happened. That would be the suckiest thing of all.

"BONES" & "Family Guy" are both on FOX so I don't hate FOX. I don't love FOX, but I don't hate it.

"BONES" is the best show on TV!!

If you don't like "BONES" you're insane, it's a fact.

Plus "Glee" shows promise, and "FRINGE" & "Lie to me" are OK.

I hate that Fox CANCELED Firefly, but I sure as hell don't show them for putting it on in the first place! Hell, you may as well rant against every OTHER network that DIDN'T BUY FIREFLY IN THE FIRST PLACE. You hate Fox because they were the ones who allowed Firefly to be made, and allowed us to have it at all?

Doesn't make much sense when you look at it that way, does it?

I don't love Fox, but I do love that they've tried some pretty edgy stuff. Without Fox, we wouldn't have ever had Firefly, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bones, House, Dollhouse, Fringe, or a host of other shows.

Have they made mistakes? Boy, have they! See Peter Griffin's rant on Family Guy when it came back after cancellation for a quick list of the shows they canceled in the interim...
