Didn't you see the ad from QMX in the box? That is about as close as you are going to get to a Mal's gun prop replica in a DVD box. The company that is making the replica http://www.quantummechanix.com/ It is gonna be shiny. I think the screws are supposed to turn and everything.

I got it too, and am equally in love with it's shiny awesomeness. I am however a tad concerned that there doesn't seem to be any plans yet to release a Region 2 edition here in the UK? As a UK Browncoat (who wisely invested in a multi-region player) I'd love to see it out over here too.

Hopefully someone out there will know something I don't and a R2 version is due? Otherwise, Universal once again will be failing to reach all the fans, and I just feel that the more folks that see and know about this (and buy it) the better off we'll all be.

I'm bummed. I bought mine at a Wal-Mart over labor day weekend while on a trip but didn't get around to watching it until yesterday. Turns out I have a bad disk. I noticed it right away when I looked at it that there was something amiss, but it played fine for the first 1/2 of the movie. Then it crapped out. Now I'm in a different town and can't find the receipt. Grrr.
