Looks like no future for "The Ghost Whisperer". The only ghosts she'll be talking to now will be the ghost of her career.

I don't know how long the series ran. I figured it'd run a few seasons, at best, and then be done. I was a bit surprised that it had lasted so long. I sort of fancied " J Love ", from afar, but even so, never bothered watching the show.

Recently, I did catch a couple of eps, as they started to show reruns. Somewhat watchable, but I still have no real 'feel' for the show, the characters, etc...

All I've ever seen of this show is when I'm flipping around channels and see Jennifer Love Hewitt in a revealing night gown and stop to watch for a while. I think I read a joke on that somewhere that they're required to have her in a revealing nightgown at least once per episode. Which begs the question how this show got canceled. This is unamerican!

Zeek, I'm pretty much where you're at. I've actually *TRIED* to watch it a couple times, and I simply can't get through an episode. JLove looks like they're trying to make her look like a cross between Buffy and Faith, without the acting skill of either. :( And they definitely feel the need to point out her only two assets.

I loved the spoof they did on MadTV - "The Boob Whisperer". It made as much sense as the real show ever did...
