To all Firefly fans.

I only found this site today and had to register. I am, of course, a die hard Firefly / Serenity fan just as i am sure all of you are too.

I get this sinking feeling when faced with the possibility and plausibility of a second seires or film. No matter how much i beg and grovel on my hands and knees - i just cant see it happening.

This hasnt however dampened my spirit to ensure the legend of the verse is continued. I have visited several sites to research the strucure of the many RPG games avaliable and as my name suggests want to design something one step further.

I am of course faced with a huge project to create a Firefly game for a console platform (PS3, Xbox 360 etc). Firstly i have to thank everybody who has already posted material on this site. The information and maps has gone along way towards my research into this project.

Finally the overall reason for the thread is to ask of any input towards the making of the game. I seriously want it to be "by the fans. For the fans" The possibilities are endless with todays CGI and gaming interface software so any thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I'm not into gaming, but best of luck on your endeavors. You need to do more research though, because there has already been an attempt (possibly still continuing) to create an MMO, but if I recall the stumbling block was the rivalry between FOX and Universal, because both of them hold a piece of the pie as far as rights to the 'Verse is concerned.
