I just happened to check the Suprnova.org bitorrent board today, and surprise, surprise, they have a NEW, unaired episode of Wonderfalls up! My bitorrent client was acting up, so I called up a buddy of mine to get some help. I mentioned the new episode, and he said that he has 2 unaired episodes!! (including the one at Suprnova). I'm sure the other episode will be posted soon. Just in case anyone would be interested.....

EDIT - yes, as of Sunday morning, they are both there

EDIT #2 - The site http://jossisahottie.com/wonderfalls/ has the shooting scripts in PDF format for almost all 12 episodes, missing only #1 and #6. Grab them and read them! I was chuckling every few minutes. And I could just imagine Jewel playing Eric's cheating floozy of a wife, Heidi, in several later episodes (some really good material - Heidi-ho! LMAO!) And the story arc is GREAT!!!!

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I'm definitely interested, but also am hesitant to download something else right now. First, I have a very old computer with little memory available, just enough for about two episodes worth right now. Second, I downloaded the third Wonderfalls ep a week or so ago, since it was one I missed taping. This was the very first time I ever downloaded anything like this, other than movie trailers and such, although my son has d/l music off Kazaa.

I started to feel like Mal (thinking "Why can't it ever go smooth?") because a few days later I got an email from my ISP in reference to a copyright complaint they had received about me from the MPAA, saying I was making available copyrighted material, specifically mentioning the Wonderfalls ep.

Has anyone else ever received a complaint like this? And why the hell are they worried about a canceled show anyhow? And unless they are monitoring everything all the time, how the hell could they have caught me at it the very first time I d/l something?

Does that seem right to you?

I noticed they have 1x06 "Muffin Buffalo" and 1x07 "Lovesick Ass", but not 1x05 "Crime Dog"...not sure if I'd want to watch them out of order...

Sorry to hear about the letter, EC. I've been using WinMX for about two years now, and bittorrent for about 6 months. I've never heard anything from my ISP, and I've downloaded several gigagytes of material, including all the Wonderfalls episodes, all the Star Trek Enterprise episodes (I have a sister in Germany, still waiting for season 2 over there), music videos, and a very few MP3s, mostly albums I have old vinyl copies of, so it could be argued legally that I have a right to listen to them.
Bittorrent is set up so that as you are downloading parts of a file, you are also uploading those parts to other people. In that sense, you are sharing copyrighted material, if the file you are downloading is copyrighted. But you know that.
Kazaa is infamous for having tracking software embedded in it - perhaps that is how "The Man" knew about the Wonderfalls episode.

I wasn't using Kazaa for the d/l, just mentioned that as one my son had used in the past. I was using BitTorrent I got from the info Outlander provided in a post a few weeks ago about the Wonderfalls d/l's.

For those who have watched these, did you catch the FF 'shoutouts' (local color, apple, etc.)?

I am a huge Wonderfalls fan, and I cannot download the eps because my only internet access is at work. Can anyone tell me if the eps are good. I figure they are, but all I have heard about them so far is that they are available for download. It's killing me knowing that the eps are out there and I cannot see them!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Yes captain, they are very good, though "Muffin Buffalo" seemed a little forced to me, kind of like the second episode "Karma Chameleon" where Jaye has her identity stolen. The story didn't seem to flow as well as others. It's still quite funny, though.
As a side note, the site http://jossisahottie.com/wonderfalls/ has the shooting scripts in PDF format for almost all 12 episodes, missing only #1 and #6 (although their numbering doesn't quite align with the downloadable episodes'). Even if you can't get the episode downloads, get the scripts. They are also very good, and you can follow the broader story arc to its' conclusion. I guarantee you'll have to take laughter breaks while reading them!

Thanks Darkjester. I have checked out that site. I've read a couple of scripts so far and I was laughing out loud on several occasions. Hopefully, we will have dvd's at some point!

Do you know where you can download the episodes? I'm down here in Australia, without even Foxtel, so I have no hope of seeing them any other way. I got the Tru Calling pilot off the net, too, but we are supposed to get that soon. (As if)

Hey CarlaTam

I'm also in Australia. I'm happy to mail out the 6 Wonderfalls episodes to you on a cd, saves you the hassle of downloading.

Don't get excited about Tru Calling, it's no Buffy. The first four episodes i downloaded got a 'meh' reaction from the 6 buffy fans in my immediate circle and we gave up on it.

Wonderfalls was cool enough, and we all enjoyed it, but then we discovered a show online called Dead Like Me that beats it hands down. Very similar protaganist... much more inventive and witty writing.

Anyway, email me if i can help!

Oh no!
I feel the exact opposite about the two shows. Dead Like Me feels so forced next to the beautiful subtlety of Wonderfalls.

Spiritually and plot-arc wise it's also a barely concealed rip-off of a Japanese cartoon (Haibane Renmai). You should check that out, it's not funny but, but very moving.
