I was bored Friday, so I went to see Hit and Run, a little movie that surprised me. What is Hit and Run you say.
IMDB puts it like this:

HIT AND RUN is a comedy about a young couple ('Kristen Bell' and Dax Shepard) that risks it all when they leave their small town life and embark on a road trip that may lead them towards the opportunity of a lifetime.

Believe me it's not as boring as that description sounds, it's anything but. Let me give you some words that will give you a hint as to what you may find in this little rom-com chase-action movie that could.

dumb US marshall, witness protection, raunchy, douche bag ex, prison action, stereotypes, Pouncer app, corvette,
higher learning, dog lovers, checkered past, new beginnings, raunchy, Mr. Majestyk, 700 horses, The King of Siam,
and one of the sweetest rides you'll ever see in the movies.

Dax Shepard wrote the script and directed along with David Palmer. He brought some friends along to help:
Tom Arnold, Joy Bryant (his TV wife from Parenthood), a barely recognizable Bradley Cooper (in blond dredlocks), a hilarious Kristen Chenoweth. He even convinced Beau Bridges to play his father.

It was fun, lighthearted, spirited and....well, fun. Oh I forgot to mention raunchy, so leave grandma and the kids at home. Go in with no expectations and you'll come out chuckling when you think about some of the shit they get away with. But do bring the Mrs. she'll get a kick out of it because there are some sweet couple moments that'll keep her happy. Don't worry, Dax kept it light and brief, so there are no syrupy kissy-face moments to spoil your shoot 'em up chase scenes (there are plenty of those).

Well, have fun this weekend.
