Just saw an ad for this. It looked interesting, mostly because Gal Gadot was the focus of the ad, and only a brief cut had Bafflac.

I suspect that ratio won't be sustained during the Actual film.

I haven't been paying attention, but do they have ads focusing on each character?

Seen other ads, not focused on WW. Seems pretty lame, way too much Bafflack.

I agree. I got the feeling that it's something like Batman v. Superman, a load obnoxious mess saved by Gal Gadot's performance somewhere along the line.

Is anybody else suffering from Superhero fatigue yet?

I feel like I did a few seasons ago with Walking Dead that I was burned out completely with the concept. I'm glad I stuck with it because I think they understood what was happening and completely re-invented the show and now I'm looking forward to next season again.

Marvel had me there for a while with Jessica Jones, season 2 of Daredevil, Agents of Shield and a few of their movies. Now I'm at that point where I really couldn't care less. The only Marvel show I've watched this year was Legion, and I didn't even know that was Marvel until the 2nd or 3rd episode. I don't even know whether it's good or bad that it is. It could have completely stood on its own as a Fringe type show without tying into the rest of the Marvel universe.

I dunno... Maybe I should try DC stuff out. I've always hated the WB DC tv shows, and I was never really a fan of any of the comics or movies except for Batman.

Any one I should start with? I know DC has gotten a lot of hate, but would like to hear from a DC fan what movie or show they'd first show a friend they were trying to get to watch that universe.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

It received a 40 ratings from rotten tomato's. Keep in mind the company who created the movie owns shares of tomato's. I'll also bet cookies to donuts Affleck is by far the main character featured in the film. I'll also bet his does the whole movie in a dumpy bad mood demeanor.

Just got back from work's movie day where we saw Justice League. I can't recommend that movie for anyone. There's basically nothing redeeming about it. I honestly can't even decide what scenes Joss shot for this. The writing was so bad that I just don't want to think it could have been him. So many times jokes landed with complete silence from the theater. Lines that were meant to be "cool" or "macho" were met with laughter. Even the filler dialog was so bad that we sometimes couldn't help but laugh. The action was all CGI garbage and even that was poorly done. I didn't really think Wonder Woman was good but here she has even less to work with. They can't decide if she should be strong, pouty, or funny. I wouldn't say she does any of them well. Her powers are just as random as they were in Wonder Woman. I'd say Batman and Wonder Woman are the main characters though. None of the characters are likeable. The bad guy is paper thin and again bad CGI. Honestly 40% on rotten tomatoes is generous. At least this will provide us with days of dialog, scenes, and "plot" to mock at work.

Wow.
I didn't even realize it was in theaters now. Other films today are Wonder and Murder On The Orient Express with Michelle Pfeiffer and Daisy Ridley.

I wonder if the genius who decided to kill off Superman is having a comfy day.

I had this really bad feeling that it would be a dud. Oh well, back to the drawing board. I see even Wonder Woman couldn't save this pile of CGI garbage. I'm betting that Zack Snyder had something to do with it, but I cringed when I saw the Flash's red suit, and don't get me started on Cyborg.

Affleck's Batman reminds me of the video game Batman for some reason, he looks to be stiff and CGI inspired (not a good thing). I watched an "interview" on one of the morning shows (I think it was Today) and the cast look uninspired, to say the least. I'm sitting this one out and saving up my pennies for The Last Jedi.

The Orient Express got 2 1/2 Stars in a local paper......

In the words of Kanye West's "Harder, Bigger, Faster, Stronger" - "Does anybody make real shit anymore?"

Box Office Mojo reports that JL has made $93.8M domestic and $185M foreign market.
Hollywood predictors were expecting $110M+ for domestic take over the weekend, so a bit of a disappointment. looks like the foreign market has not tired of superhero movies.

I read a review that said that the script was lacking, with laughable forced dialogue. As always, the script/screenplay is key.

Well, if these films are made for the foreign markets, then that explains a lot. Why make quality or bother with a credible English language script?

My recommendation to anybody is to sit them all out, wait a few months, then watch them for free on Kodi.

Hollywood needs to die off. Since it looks like all of the hurricanes are going to keep hitting the Southeast coast instead, we're going to have to do it by not giving them any more money.

All I've heard is how bad this movie was, yet it's still going to end up making at least some money. That's sad.

Saw a recent ad for this, I think.
Wasn't Superman killed off before? But he's back for this one?

Oh...

Looks like The Flash took the Barbie/Oppenheimer wacko weekend as an opportunity to silently slink out of theaters after just 35 days. It's final day in the box office was July 20th.

$107,231,378 Domestic, $160,400,000 International, $267,631,378 Worldwide... All on a $200,000,000 Production Budget.

Not the biggest flop of the year with 134% of its production budget in the Worldwide Box Office, but a flop nonetheless.

I'm sure Ezra will be fine.
