Author Notes: This is my 1st ever fan faction, it’s actually my 1st ever completed story I’ve written, since most stories haven’t been interesting enough to actually finish. Don’t mind if my writing ain’t that good. It will coincide with Tina’s (TinaDoll) Verse & some stories will be intertwined into each other’s stories or related. My friends say I have a slightly odd sense of humor, you have been warned, just wait until the ant scene in Chapter 7.

Chapter 2: Tracking is hard when you’re tracking a Warrior Woman!

Here are the coordinates for that base Mr.Dark, says one of Niska’s grunts.

“Thank you”, Matt replies, he looks back up at the grunt noticing something like makeup on the grunts face, he thinks to himself, “Oh shit he is wearing makeup”, then the grunt gives him a wink & a smile then Matt thinks, “Oh shit he’s twee”, then scandals off onto his ship…very quickly.

He flicks the three switches “got to get me just one switch to turn on the ignition someday”, the Scorpion roars to life as the engines start to humm like a hummingbird, and then it slowly glides away from the dock of the space station like a leaf on the wind.

The Cheetah comes within distance of the coordinates were Scorpion is supposed to leave from in another 7 hours, Matt thinks to himself, “just enough time to relax and enjoy the sunrise”. He closes his eyes for just a second while the Cheetah slowly glides towards the planet on auto pilot, then he starts to hear a rumble ignoring it thinking it’s his ship then it get louder like its getting closer, he opens his eyes & a small ship zooms straight past him and though he only saw the ship for a blink of an eye he notices a scorpion on the side of the ship, which no ordinary human would have ever been able to do given the amount of time he saw for it. He hits the auto switch turning off the auto pilot quickly hitting the big red button, emergency stopping the ship, then pulls on the shiny red lever increasing the speed, then turns the thrusters the opposite way to normal making the ship go backwards then quickly lets off the red lever stopping the thrust then spins the ship hard left, then finally pulls the red lever creating thrust making the ship do a 180 degree turn in a blink of an eye, all this taking place in under 10 seconds. He started to think about if Scorpion had auto pilot on cause if she did then she wouldn’t have seen him but if she was flying the ship herself she would have, since the Scorpion wouldn’t appear on her radar cause the Cheetah class ship jams sensor’s but is still visible to the naked eye. “She’s making no difference in course or at least not yet, she didn’t see me then”, he says. Scorpion’s ship fly’s into the upcoming asteroid belt not even slowing down, Matt thought to himself, “only she would have the balls to do that”, he quickly followed keeping up, dodging all the asteroids, to Matt the asteroids were like a retard grav-tennis (zero gravity tennis, most people think the ball resembles a asteroid coming at you) player would hit a ball and it would never hit its target, you easily win every time without lifting a finger.

She dodge’s a huge asteroid by going below it then lifting up again, Matt followed here but went vertically up the face of the asteroid and then down again but then when he came over the top of the asteroid he noticed she had gone, “Gotsa”, he said despite hating the Mandarin language, realizing she had played him. All he could see were loads of asteroids and no ship in site, he glided his ship in between the asteroids slowly, knowing she was hiding behind one of these asteroids. No luck till he picked up a heat signature a short distance away seeming to coming from a large asteroid, he slowly made his way there, he noticed a crater in the middle of the asteroid. The Scorpion faced directly opposite the crater, Matt saw a dummy beacon which was inside the crater flashing its light, knowing she’d probably already gotten away he just blew up the asteroid in frustration as the explosion cleared away he saw her ship far away in the distance.

Matt revved up the engine and hit the secondary big red button which he’s had only ever used once before, he started to lean his body into his seat, the engine started to rumble the noise growing louder and louder then it happened, a yellow trail started to trickle out of the back of the Scorpion then Matt’s head was forced into the back of the seat as the short burst of speed that the red button gave was so fast that the shield protecting his ship from G-Force only works at a 70% rate when going the speed he was going. After the ship slowed down after a couple of seconds he thought to himself “that’s why I bought a Cheetah class ship with a mini modified Firefly class engine”, he opened his eyes which were still recovering from the G’s he was pulling only seconds ago, and glancing up he saw her ship now only a Alliance cruiser length ahead of him. He had modified Niska’s ion cannon he requested before he left the space station so that when fired it would only knock out the sensor’s of the target not the engine planning something like this might happen, Matt pushed the gold switch which charged the cannon and hit the switch again shooting out the ion beam at Scorpion’s ship, now he knew she can’t detect him on her radar not unless she had wind-mirrors, he thinks “if she’s anything like me she does, cause I do”.
