Author Notes: This is my 1st ever fan faction, it’s actually my 1st ever completed story I’ve written, since most stories haven’t been interesting enough to actually finish. Don’t mind if my writing ain’t that good. It will coincide with Tina’s (TinaDoll) Verse & some stories will be intertwined into each other’s stories or related. My friends say I have a slightly odd sense of humor, you have been warned, just wait until the ant scene in Chapter 7.

Chapter 3: The younger Matt’s new beginning

Matt piloting his glider underneath the belly of Scorpion’s ship, thinking about this mission, he decided it was definitely a bad idea if he came face to face with her now, maybe some other time when he’s not on a mission, let alone the thought of her even remembering him since Blue Sun don’t exactly like their experiments to remember their past thinking about his own blurred early childhood. Matt flicks a switch setting off the music system in his ship which then starts to play the song “Sound of a Gun” by the legendary band Audioslave from the Earth That Was, he took the track from some high ranked Alliance officer who collected rare Earth That Was Artifacts…when he was sent to kill him. Matt starts to peal open a Blue Sun Mars Bar triggering another new memory from before he had amnesia as a young child… )))) Many years ago… )))) “Matt honey, we’re going to send you to a brand new school for clever people like you”, said Mrs.Light.

“Will there be animal figurines to play with, like Fuzz KiteYear and Hoody the Cowboy”, Matt replies

“Of course there will be Matty, of course there will be”. )))) A few weeks later… )))) “Now Matt we need to take some tests which will involve needles are you okay with needles”, says a man dressed in a long white coat.

“Sure mister”, Matt says with an English accent”.

That same man in the long white coat says, “He’s the best out of all the students, definitely a prime candidate for our new program”.

A woman replies, “are you sure cause his report says he plays with figurines and is a loner, but then again he does have the highest IQ out of all the other kids even the older ones”.

The man then replies, “Yes well we can erase that part of him from his memory, though since he’s only a 8 year old kid I recommend only giving him mild doses of the physical enchantments we’ve created”.

The woman the replies, “No we give him full doses since he’s our first ever test subject and we need to know how far a kid can go before they become damaged, remember this will be our first subject not our last so it doesn’t matter what happens to him”. “Sorry Mam, won’t happen again”, the woman walks away towards the door where a man stands waiting, they both walk away together, and both wore blue gloves. )))) 2 years later… )))) Matt hiding in the corner of the room was huddled up like a hedgehog, and then a woman came into the room then proceeded to talk to a man in a long white coat, though they spoke quietly Matt could hear everything they were talking about as loud as day, sometimes it hurt so much.

The man says, “He’s become more distant and unstable though we erased his happy memories and an unusual side effect is he has lost his English accent, he definitely isn’t a suitable candidate for the next steps”.

The woman replies, “But he has reacted well to the physical enhancements, so train him to be a emotion operative, we could always do with a few more emotion operative’s since they don’t think like the average operative”.

The man then replies back, “of course Mam, excellent thinking we’ll get on it right away”.

“Hey Matt we are going to take you to a different school, a very cool school, would you like to go to a cool school”, says the man in the white coat.

Matt unfolds himself from his hedgehog like position, looks up at the man, the man looks into the kid’s eyes and what he sees scare him.

“Blue alert, I repeat Blue alert, use any force necessary to stop text subject zero”, a voice over the intercom says.

“Where is the child”, says the blue hand woman”.

“he killed Dr.Weatherly in cold blood, he has now escaped and somebody is hacking into the mainframe and has unlocked the security to all our experimental explosive material on the sky complex and overridden the thruster bypass codes, an officer replies. The woman replies back to the officer, “it’s him, he did it, subject zero did all this he’s planned all this down to the grain in the sand, we have to find him before it’s too la…interrupted by the noise of a massive explosion, all the blue handed woman can think to say is, “Oh fuck me”, seconds later the whole sky complex is amongst the clouds, the next falling out of the sky. Matt lies in the rubble of a building unconscious while rescue team search day and night to find any survivors in the sky complex. On the third day of searching for survivors they find a kid buried underneath a pile of rubble, they get the kid to hospital ASAP since they found him with two broken arms, a broken foot, one broken leg, and a damaged neck and severe burns, he became the most famous survivor of any terrorist attack, the Alliance blamed the Independence for the terrorist attack. 16 weeks after the event Matt finely wakes up at the Ariel hospital after being in a coma. When he woke up he was met by a man who was the person who found him in the wreckage. They talked for weeks together while Matt recovered from all his injuries, the man was called John Dark a man who quit his firefighting job just so he could be there when he woke up from his coma.

“Do you remember anything kido before the accident”, said John.

“Nothing apart from a picture in my head of a woman called Maria, who seems to be bad but isn’t really she just hides it, it feels like I know her but I feel like I haven’t met yet”, Mat replies.

John replies, “Well I think that knock on the head gave you the power of foresight maybe you’ll meet her, get married, have kids and grow old together with her someday”, he replies chuckling then continues to talk, “We found this tag next to your body where we found you, it’s says your called Matt but your Surname was bleached by the Smoke”. )))) Later on that day, )))) Matt asks John, “Can I live with you John”?

“Well you’ll have to live with me till you’re all grown up, and no girlfriends, alcohol, or smoking to your at least 15, since your such a mature boy”, John replies, both start laughing uncontrollably.

Matt bites on the Blue Sun Mars bar then drops it when the ship almost crashes into the last asteroid of the asteroid belt, “Bloody auto-pilot”, he says but for some strange reason he noticed he said it with an English twang.
