Washington, D.C. — Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL-01) today released the following statement after reviewing information from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, including a memo held in the Congressional Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) that contained previously-undisclosed information involving the Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI) and Department of Justice (DOJ).

“The House must immediately make public the memo prepared by the Intelligence Committee regarding the FBI and the Department of Justice. The facts contained in this memo are jaw-dropping and demand full transparency. There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy,” Rep. Gaetz said.

"Explosive", "Shocking" And "Alarming" FISA Memo Set To Rock DC, "End Mueller Investigation"

All hell is breaking loose in Washington D.C. tonight after a four-page memo detailing extensive FISA court abuse was made available to the entire House of Representatives Thursday. The contents of the memo are so explosive, says Journalist Sara Carter, that it could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and the Department of Justice and the end of Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation.

These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates. -Sara Carter

A source close to the matter tells Fox News that "the memo details the Intelligence Committee's oversight work for the FBI and Justice, including the controversy over unmasking and FISA surveillance." An educated guess by anyone who's been paying attention for the last year leads to the obvious conclusion that the report reveals extensive abuse of power and highly illegal collusion between the Obama administration, the FBI, the DOJ and the Clinton Campaign against Donald Trump and his team during and after the 2016 presidential election.

Maybe.

Quote:

Lawmakers who have seen the memo are calling for its immediate release, while the phrases "explosive," "shocking," "troubling," and "alarming" have all been used in all sincerity. One congressman even likened the report's details to KGB activity in Russia.

“It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan told Fox News. “It's troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said. “Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., offered the motion on Thursday to make the Republican majority-authored report available to the members.

“The document shows a troubling course of conduct and we need to make the document available, so the public can see it,” said a senior government official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the document. “Once the public sees it, we can hold the people involved accountable in a number of ways.”

The government official said that after reading the document “some of these people should no longer be in the government.” -Sara Carter

Reportedly this would force the firing of McCabe, other top FBI and also AG, plus likely expose best friends Mueller and Comey to prosecution.

The deliberate blind eye that was turned towards Hillary's private server and her State-Dept/ Foundation "pay to play" schemes ... which were prolly heavily documented on that server of hers .... sure reeks of political bias on the part of DOJ/ FBI.

The whole sorry mess needs to be ripped open, and those who politicized the DOJ/ FBI need to be held accountable. Hillary herself probably belongs in jail.

I know the memo is about FISA and NSA, but that's just a small part of the rot that exists.

There is for sure rot elsewhere ... like in the Pentagon ... and Congress ... but you gotta start somewhere.

Dems hid the fact that they and the HRC campaign paid over $10 million for the ' dossier ' to be manufactured. That fact alone should be enough to raise suspicions. That the report was used in part or fully as the basis for the FISA warrants has been admitted to already in open meetings , though indirectly, by the investigation.

There is clearly something to this. How much remains to be seen.

I'd prefer a world where there was a LOT more transparency to what the Government is doing in a great majority of things. Especially since we all pay their goddamned salaries and their cushy lifestyles and their extremely nice healthcare packages that we don't get.

That's never going to happen though because they're all a bunch of crooks and liars on both sides. This single document is just a pittance of what is really out there. If somehow everything they are doing and have done in the past was all leaked for the masses to sift through and piece together they're be riots, and a lot of violence.

I'm too old for that shit, and frankly I have too much too lose. I don't have a great life, but at the same time my wise decisions in the past and my currently miserly ways have given me one where I don't ever have to kiss anybody's ass for money. And because of the internet, entertainment is virtually free when I'm not working.

I wish you all good luck, whatever happens. I've basically opted out of all of it at this point. The ROI for me is just not there anymore.

I am referencing this thread, http://fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=62024, because SIG more times than not, sources her information that she posts here from zerohedge. She stupidly defends this as a reputable source. Something she does with other unreliable sources. As she continues to do so, I will reference this thread to remind all she posts from this and other corrupted sources. Sources designed to create havoc rather than inform.

Below are the names of those behind zero hedge. Don't miss what I've highlighted in red below. This folks is why comrade troll SIG loves to quote zero hedge.

In addition, Lokey said he faced constant pressure to frame stories in-line with a particular world-view, which he described as “Russia=good. Obama=idiot. Bashar al-Assad=benevolent leader. John Kerry=dunce. Vladmir Putin=greatest leader in the history of statecraft.”

All of this matches SIG's playbook here and Putin's globally; exactly. http://fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=62024

The men behind zero hedge

Colin Lokey, a 32-year-old former Seeking Alpha director

Daniel Ivandjiiski, a 37-year-old Bulgarian-born former hedge fund employee who was barred for insider trading in 2008

Tim Backshall, a 45-year-old credit derivatives strategist
Despite its populist tone, Lokey told Bloomberg he recently left Zero Hedge because he didn’t see eye-to-eye with the others when it came to editorial vision.

“Zero Hedge ceased to serve that public service years ago,” Lokey said. “They care what generates page views. Clicks. Money.”

Lokey claims Zero Hedge’s focus on traffic and revenue is hypocritical, but Ivandjiiski sees things differently.

Finally, Zero Hedge addressed the accusations of systematic bias in its content.

“We are certainly ok with being the object of other’s conspiracy theories, in this case completely false ones since we have never been in contact with anyone in Russia, or the US, or any government for that matter,” Zero Hedge says.

The site claims it has never accepted a dime of funding outside of advertising revenue and that Lokey was never pressured about how to frame his articles or editorialized.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/zero-hedge-unmasked-theres-more-1427301
65.html

According to the Bloomberg article, three men have been churning out all of the content at Zero Hedge, using the joint pseudonym “Tyler Durden” from the Brad Pitt film “Fight Club.” The 1999 cult film, according to Rolling Stone, is “about being young, male and powerless against the pacifying drug of consumerism. It’s about solitude, despair and bottled-up rage.” That ethos is frequently on display at Zero Hedge.

The three “Tyler Durdens” outed by Bloomberg reporters are Colin Lokey, who has now left Zero Hedge in a fit of pique and is responsible for handing over the internal chat sessions from Zero Hedge on traffic-building strategies and other matters. Bloomberg says “the other two men are Daniel Ivandjiiski, 37, the Bulgarian-born former analyst long reputed to be behind the site, and Tim Backshall, 45, a well-known credit derivatives strategist.”

The article notes that “Ivandjiiski has a multimillion-dollar mansion in Mahwah, N.J., and Backshall lives in a plush San Francisco suburb,” suggesting these are “not exactly reflections” of the anti-capitalism reflected in the moniker “Tyler Durden.”

Hey I know, since it is the Republicans who control all three branches of government why don't they just release it. Trump can declassify anything he wants. He doesn't do it, why, you fucking nitwit. Because it is much ado about nothing.

I think because the Republicans are so obsessed with the Dossier the press should start reporting on ALL it contains. Because of the Republicans the press can do so without being impugned. They have confirmed it is a legitimate piece of news.

NSA "Sincerely Regrets" Deleting All Bush-Era Surveillance Data It Was Ordered To Preserve

There is a growing consensus among many observers in Washington that the national security agencies have become completely politicized over the past seventeen years and are now pursuing selfish agendas that actually endanger what remains of American democracy.

As Philip Giraldi notes, up until recently it has been habitual to refer to such activity as the Deep State, which is perhaps equivalent to the Establishment in that it includes financial services, the media, major foundations and constituencies, as well as lobbying groups, but we are now witnessing an evolutionary process in which the national security regime is exercising power independently.

Nowhere is that "independence" of the 'state within a state' more evident than in the blatant and egregious news this week that The National Security Agency destroyed surveillance data it pledged to preserve in connection with pending lawsuits and apparently never took some of the steps it told a federal court it had taken to make sure the information wasn’t destroyed, according to recent court filings.

As Politico reports, the agency tells a federal judge that it is investigating and "sincerely regrets its failure."

Quote:

Since 2007, the NSA has been under court orders to preserve data about certain of its surveillance efforts that came under legal attack following disclosures that President George W. Bush ordered warrantless wiretapping of international communications after the 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S. In addition, the agency has made a series of representations in court over the years about how it is complying with its duties.

However, the NSA told U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey White in a filing on Thursday night and another little-noticed submission last year that the agency did not preserve the content of internet communications intercepted between 2001 and 2007 under the program Bush ordered. To make matters worse, backup tapes that might have mitigated the failure were erased in 2009, 2011 and 2016, the NSA said.

"Like, with a cloth?"

Quote:

“The NSA sincerely regrets its failure to prevent the deletion of this data,” NSA’s deputy director of capabilities, identified publicly as “Elizabeth B.,” wrote in a declaration filed in October.

“NSA senior management is fully aware of this failure, and the Agency is committed to taking swift action to respond to the loss of this data.”

Defiance of a court order can result in civil or criminal contempt charges, as well as sanctions against the party responsible. So far, no one involved appears to have asked White to impose any punishment or sanction on the NSA over the newly disclosed episodes, although the details of what happened are still emerging.

“It’s really disappointing,” said David Greene, an attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has been leading the prolonged litigation over the program in federal court in San Francisco.

“The obligation’s been in place for a really long time now. … We had a major dust-up about it just a few years ago. This is definitely something that should’ve been found sooner.”

Word of the NSA’s foul-up is emerging just as Congress has extended for six years the legal authority the agency uses for much of its surveillance work conducted through U.S. internet providers and tech firms.

Antiwar activist Justin Raimondo believes that something like a civil war is coming with the war party Establishment fighting to defend its privileged global order while many other Americans seek a return to normal nationhood with all that implies.

If true, the next few years will see a major internal conflict that will determine what kind of country the United States will be.

Looks like the NSA and Hillary have a lot in common! They're both good at erasing subpoenaed evidence, and crying crocodile tears!

FBI "Loses" Five Months Of Text Messages Between Anti-Trump Agents

Five months of text messages between anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page have been lost

"Like, with a cloth?"
Quote:

according to a Friday disclosure from the Justice Department to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC), as reported by the Associated Press and the Daily Caller.

...The missing texts conveniently span the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017 - the day Robert Mueller was appointed to take over the FBI's probe of alleged Trump-Russia collusion, and during the period in which the FBI would ostensibly have been hard at work on their "insurance policy" against a Trump victory, alluded to in previous text messages between Strzok and Page.

Johnson expressed concern over the missing text messages, which were sent during a key period of the Russia investigation. During that time frame is when the Steele dossier was published by BuzzFeed News, when Strzok participated in a Jan. 24 interview with then-national security adviser Michael Flynn, and when James Comey was fired as FBI director.

The end date of the missing Strzok-Page texts is also significant. That’s because May 17 is the day when Mueller was appointed to take over the FBI’s probe of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government
.
“The loss of records from this period is concerning,” Johnson wrote in a letter sent Saturday to FBI Director Christopher Wray.

How are you remotely able to even THINK that, when you know it's not true ???? Honestly, what synapses must misfire for you to even dream up such twisted nonsense ?

No it isn't. It's utterly non related. YOU want it to be bad news, so by your own actions, YOU are making their dreams come true. Nothing Trump or the GOP did has any impact on any of this. Now you're just grasping at straws. Maddow made a fool of herself by her big 'reveal' of Trump's taxes, and it showed he paid MILLIONS. One big nothing. There's that start. In THIS thread, you posted extensively! You attacked "Paul Craig Roberts" because of his name, and then attacked him because he attacked Hillary. Defended Hillary against all criticism. LIED AND TROLLED EXTENSIVELY to do it. But I couldn't find anything negative about Hillary in there.

Maybe here?

Eh... more defense of Hillary.

Yanno, I'll bet that you couldn't find more than two or three posts .... if that ... where you were even MILDLY critical of Hillary, amongst all the robust defenses, deflections, and lies that you posted on her behalf. Man, just re-reading your posts reminds me, again, what an asshole you are.

So stop trying to rewrite history; you're not fooling me and it would be a shame (for you) if you managed to fool yourself. Because then you would have twisted your brain into a pretzel in order to do it.

I think because the Republicans are so obsessed with the Dossier the press should start reporting on ALL it contains. Because of the Republicans the press can do so without being impugned. They have confirmed it is a legitimate piece of news.

Let's not forget who are the biggest anti-Capitalists here. I believe both harpies have suggested at length and with great conviction, that Captialism - by it's very design - "blah blah enslaves citizens blah bah empowers the 1% blah blah ruins nations," etc etc ad infinitum + extra nauseum. And now they support Trump, the Poster boy of Capitalism?? What's worse than hypocrisy? I look forward to seeing them try and walk that one back - should be a hoot.

I also wonder what Siggy's Mexican servants feel about her wanting to send millions of Mexicans back to Mexico. Her justification of, "If they love Mexico so much and wave Mexican flags they should go back to Mexico." Obviously, she's never been to a Saint Patrick's Day parade. Plus - does anyone on this board hate the US more vocally than Snigglet? Even close? Shouldn't she "go back" somewhere then by her own logic?

These logic breaks only continue to support how they are following a course of direction set out for them by someone else. It has really never seemed like anything else to me. Your's and T's thinking that the source is Putin/Russia/USSR is - as it has always been - dead on.

The people who work for me ... no, they are not "servants" .... were born in the USA. I set those criteria for hiring because there are a LOT of Hispanics ... legal and illegal ... who are looking for work, and I need to screen people out QUICKLY, so I put those requirements in any advert that I run.

I think you know that our daughter is disabled, yes? She needs someone with her for her safety. Someone who can provide transportation. Someone who can understand complex instructions about anticonvulsants. Someone who can reliably call 911. Hubby and I both work full time. What do you suggest that I do? Leave her alone all day? The person who watches our daughter was born in the USA. She is FOR Trump, BTW. In her line of work, she knows that cheap Mexican labor drives wages down.

I also just had my yard re-landscaped, tore out most of the lawn and replaced it with native plants. The person who did the landscaping was born in the USA. He is also for Trump, BTW, because in HIS line of work he knows that cheap Mexican labor drives wages down.

So, GSTRING lied in THAT thread, and you spread his lies into THIS thread. But at least GSTRING had the good sense to back down from that particular line of lies. You, OTOH, insist on dredging them up again even it just makes you looks like ... what was that again? Oh yeah ... an asshole and a troll.

U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies are looking at interceptions of both communications and financial transactions as part of “a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials and associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump,” according to a new report by the New York Times.

Citing former and current senior American officials, the Times said that Mr. Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort is one of the Trump associates included in the investigation. Prior to his work with Mr. Trump, Manafort was an advisor to Viktor Yanukovych, a pro-Russian Ukrainian politician.

Former Trump foreign policy advisor Carter Page is also a subject of the investigation, according to the report, as is longtime Republican strategist and longtime Trump advisor Roger Stone. Like Manafort, Stone was fired from the Trump campaign.

Clicks. Money.”

This makes the Lynch / Bill Clinton ' happenstance ' meeting on the tarmac all that more absurd and yet understandable. She was telling him there, outside of her office, for OBVIOUS reasons, directly that Hillary was getting off scot free.

Whistleblower Confirms "Secret Society" Meetings Between FBI And DOJ To Undermine Trump
And Mueller wants to know WHY Comey was fired???

Quote:

A whistleblower has revealed to Congress that clandestine, offsite meetings between high ranking FBI and DOJ took place in which officials discussed ways to undermine President Trump after the 2016 election, Rep. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Fox News on Tuesday.

The bombshell revelation all but confirms a "secret society" alluded to in text messages released last Friday between two anti-Trump FBI employees tasked with investigating both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

“The secret society — we have an informant talking about a group holding secret meetings off-site,” Johnson said.

“We have to continue to dig into it,” he added. “This is not a distraction. This is biased, potentially corruption at the highest levels of the FBI.” -The Hill

On Monday night, Reps. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) and Trey Gowdy (R-SC) told Fox News of the "secret society" texts between FBI investigators Peter Strzok and Lisa Page - contained within a 384-page batch of text messages delivered to Congress from the DOJ last Friday. Of note Ratcliffe says that Strzok and Page were included in the clandestine anti-Trump cabal at the highest levels of the American intelligence community.

What we learned today in the thousands of text messages that we've reviewed that perhaps they may not have done that (checked their bias at the door). There's certainly a factual basis to question whether or not they acted on that bias. We know about this insurance policy that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president.

We learned today from information that in the immediate aftermath of his election that there may have been a secret society of folks within the Department of Justice and the FBI to include Page and Strzok to be working against him.

As part of the 384 page document delivery, the Department of Justice notified Congressional investigators that five months of text messages from December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017 have gone missing (ironically there is a text message about "not keeping texts" from last Friday's release).

And while Strzok and Page's communications for five months after the election apparently won't see the light of day, what we do know is that right before the election, Strzok and Page texted about an "insurance policy" against Donald Trump becoming President.

"I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office - that there's no way he [Trump] gets elected - but I'm afraid we can't take that risk." writes FBI counterintelligence officer Peter Strzok to FBI lawyer Lisa Page, with whom he was having an extramarital affair while spearheading both the Clinton email inquiry and the early Trump-Russia probe, adding "It's like a life insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you're 40."

To recap: we now have text messages between Strzok and Page referencing an "insurance policy" and a "secret society" of people within the DOJ and FBI who came together in the "immediate aftermath" of the 2016 election to undermine President Trump... and a whistleblower who has now told Congress that's exactly what happened in the form of secret, offsite meetings between officials at the two agencies.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Now, haven't you been informed .... many times already ... of the "deep state's" war against Trump?

One of the comments that London Paul made ... and I paraphrase ... was that Trump didn't run for the Presidency to be the President in any normal sense. His personal mission (London Paul says) was to take a giant wrecking ball to the "deep state", and that this would be at great risk to him.

As if the war fevers whipped up before EVERY invasion/ destabilization didn't inform you already ... war fevers based on nothing more than propaganda which evaporated/ was shown to be false the moment it wasn't needed .... this anti-Russian hysteria pushed by the deep state and the complicit press to "get" Trump should be a big cold bucket of water in your face and make you wake up to the fact that you've been manipulated for decades by a government that sees you as nothing more than sheep to be shorn.

Now, the fact that this is being exposed by Trump and his GOP allies does not make the GOP (or Trump) any more deserving of your trust. They're riding this hobby-horse for their own purposes, and after all, they have THEIR interests at heart - NOT YOURS.

The government (neither Dem nor GOP) isn't going to look out for you, neither are the banks, the spook agencies, the military industrial complex, big pharma and health insurances, "the internet", and especially not the corporate press. EVERYONE has their own interests at heart ... NOT YOURS ... and everything they say has to be filtered with that in mind. AND YES, THEY WILL LIE, REPEATEDLY AND WITHOUT REMORSE. So please, just stop being so gorram GULLIBLE.

America loves a winner!

I personally am not forgetting who Trump was, is and likely shall be, always. He's a carnival barker, and he's here to tell everyone the greatest show on Earth is himself !

But if along the way he breaks up the Old Guard, and " magically ", as Obama might claim, gets the economy kick started, corporations to hand out nice bits of cash / stock options, and big multi-nationals to repatriate BILLIONS of dollars back to the USA... hey, that works for me.

I'm far from a fan of everything he's done, but hell, I'm so grateful that HE, and not HER is running the show.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

I'm just a red pill guy in a room full of blue pill addicts.

Deep state in Turkey. The deep state (Turkish: derin devlet) is alleged to be a group of influential anti-democratic coalitions within the Turkish political system, composed of high-level elements within the intelligence services (domestic and foreign), Turkish military, security, judiciary, and mafia.

Sound familiar? This is you here sig. This is the fact of it. Anti-democratic. This is what you push here and how Trump is undermining the democratic institution's in this country.

It trolls like you, russian bots who are attacking our judicial, media, intelligence agencies, and three separate branches of government.

The only time you have something positive to say it is about russia.
