They're not sure when, but it looks like 2018-19 release, that's just my guess.

I had conjured that you would know whether a U.S. Filed Grade Officer could be demoted during one nap to Private by a foreign Officer. I was conflicted that you would consider he might be a Private. What sort of process would you think could have been employed, other than criminal actions by General and/or Sgt Farrell, not to mention dishonorable?

I'd say General Brigham was following Hollywood's laws for villains in positions of high authority, instead of realistic military laws for punishing Cage's insubordination, desertion, and disobedience.

The movie also broke the real laws of physics in the movie's version of time travel, so, you know, I don't think about movie being realistic. It is more fantasy-violence-entertainment-hallucination than anything else.

Or, in short, you're watching Cage play a very realistic video game where he has infinite lives until the last stage in the game where he battles the Final Boss. If he is killed by that Boss, he loses the game and is permanently locked out of his Playstation.
