Travolting, Jean Stapleton, Andie McDowell, William Hurt, Bob Hoskins, Robert Pastorelli, Joey Lauren Adams. Mom and Dad Save the World - not much high-brow humor, but I laughed a lot. Eric Idle, Dwier Brown, Kathy Ireland, Jon Lovitz, Teri Garr, Jeffrey Jones. Hot Fuzz - similar humor style to Shaun of the Dead, but I thought better. Hero - Chevy Chase, Geena Davis. I consider it very funny, but it is a cynical dry humor, not slapstick. I once saw a film with I think John Cleese, but cannot recall the name or identify it with imdb. It seemed like 80's vintage, and he played I think a principal or headmaster who was about the countryside and was having a very bad day, nothing went right. Anybody know what film I'm talking about? I felt it was my favorite British humor work of the time.

Really fun movie, and yes Burt Reynolds has some great lines and truly funny scenes, so completely against type. I totally forgot about this movie, it's one of my favs in recent times. Ving Rhames also had some good lines - "whip out the little feller" and "you see how a guy can get arthritis" Great pick. SGG
