I don't know why she didn't have a clue, or was willing to gamble everybody's lives upon it. My only guess is she was just tired. If I could see the ending as soon as the synthetic returned to her, how could she or Tennessee not see, with their lives in the balance? And they only had 7 years of travel to their destination? One human could oversee the remeinder of the trip, both she and he having lost their lifemates.

If you are going to think during this film, ignore the parts about traveling for years, then unexpectedly bringing themselves to a stop (or planetary orbit) within a few days, and also about cryo-sleep for a matter of years.

If you are looking for just a thrill/suspense/horror flick, it does have all of that. But the characters are almost as stupid as those of Gravity.

You know something JSF, I agree with you wholeheartedly. Although I wasn't as disappointed as I was with Prometheus.

3 out of 5 Stars - mainly for the production value, action sequences and horror quotient. Otherwise it was a weak script.
