My fave cinema was not showing Long legs, so this seemed an acceptable choice to view.

I started to doubt myself while walking into the building, thinking the story might be just too cheesy and lacking substance. But I still bought the tickets.
Opening credits revealed it is an apple movie. I was tempted to walk right out and see a different film. I should have trusted my senses.

I have used Apple IIe computers, in the early 1980s. Although the graphics in the film were not quite that bad, I was certainly reminded of how poor the early graphics were. For some scenes, attempting to portray the majesty and grandeur of First Mission Space Rockets, I wondered how did they manage to find such ridiculously fuzzy cameras and lenses? OH! It's an Apple film, so they probably googled it.
Cinematography apparently strove to emulate Howard, McTiernan, Scott, Cameron, Bay, and such - and failed miserably.

The scenes with people in them were not so bad, image-wise. But the actors were wooden, and few scenes hit the mark.

Also produced by Jon Favreau, who went from making Zathura to being a Libtard Lord Darth Obiden siccophant.

At least now I know to watch for apple films, so I can avoid them.

There were others in the screening, seemed mostly couples middle or later aged. Nobody else seemed to enjoy the showing any more than I did.

No adverts no marketing and budget $100m or 120 million? And it only made $30m, 25 million or 50 million?

Apple Studios, Columbia / Sony and Downson's Creek and DC comics Arrow-verse guy Greg Berlanti, his previous flop was Green Lantern, did Atlas 2024 film make money?

Maybe Apple's TV division is way better than their movie division? Or maybe Dark Matter was a fluke?

At least as far as I remember, Dark Matter was the only Apple production I've ever seen and it easily rates somewhere in my top 3 TV shows of all time.

Scarlett Johansson’s new film flops, prompting Apple to rethink its strategy

After spending $20 billion on productions since 2019 and racking up millions in losses, the technology company has been forced to change its plan to cut costs. As a result, it will only give the latest movie by George Clooney and Brad Pitt a limited theatrical release

It's just stupid.

Normal Americans don't have access to all that venture capital and need to actually think long and hard about how they're spending their money, yet we see our government and large corporations pissing away billions, tens of billions and even hundreds of billions every year with no oversight or repercussions.

It's just been made so much worse after we used DEI to force completely incompetent people into roles they never had any business performing.

Sorry ladies, they're mostly women.
