By vividly recounting the TT's legendary rivalries and the Isle of Man's unique road racing history, this 3D feature documentary will discover why modern TT riders still risk their lives to win the world's most dangerous race. The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is the greatest motorcycle road race in the world, the ultimate challenge for rider and machine. It has always called for a commitment far beyond any other racing event, and many have made the ultimate sacrifice in their quest for victory. A story about freedom of choice, the strength of human spirit and the will to win. It's also an examination of what motivates those rare few, this elite band of brothers who risk everything to win. The vision of top commercials director Richard de Aragues, this promises to be one of the most thrilling films of 2011.

LWAVES

For once I think I actually agree with your point of view. Not that you ever state an actual pov.

I obviously haven't seen this movie yet but I did have the privilege of seeing the an actual TT race in my late teens. I'm not a bike person but my Dad is a big fan and we went across one year to see it. It's the most exhilirating experience I've ever witnessed. The top riders really push the limits and boundaries of their bikes and their mental/physical abilitties. And then there are those that go over those limits. There were no fatalities as far as I can remember but there were some pretty serious crashes and even several bystander injuries.
Sheer, brilliant madness.
And on top of that the Isle Of Man is a beautiful place with a great bunch of locals (with local shops for local people). Well worth it even if you only have a passing interest.
