May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Quote: The other thing I noticed is that we're seeing signs of two different factions behind the scenes. As you're all noting, Mr. Bennett isn't actually doing anything really malevolent. He's just cataloguing and "tagging" the mutants. He doesn't seem involved with the murderous brain-stealers, who either work for or include Sylar. In fact, the "save the cheerleader" message seemed to genuinely shock him --he hadn't realized that Claire was in any danger. Plus we know that the spy he planted on Mohinder isn't working with Sylar (one: I'm guessing it was one of Sylar's men that tried to bug the apartment, and two: Isaac's not dead, he's been disappeared). Other powers we've seen at play include: super-strength (the guy that tried to bug Mohinder's apartment and kicked him across a room), telekinesis (used to pin that woman to the wall and impale her, and likely also the one who destroyed Mohinder's father's cab, and used by what was apparently Sylar himself to attack the FBI woman), and freezing (used on the murder victim Matt saw). We also know that Radioactive Man was either working for Sylar or in the process of being recruited. Meanwhile, Bennett has "Jammer" (the mind-wipe guy), and his mole, who doesn't appear to have any powers of her own. Bennett obviously has resources, but aside from Jammer we haven't seen any confirmed mutants working with him. I'm guessing that he's either running a vigilante op or is part of a (government?) program aimed at cataloguing the mutants as either potential threats or potential weapons (maybe preparatory to a "Weapon X" style program, or mutant registration/concentration camps). . . Here's a possibility: Mr. Bennett finds out about Sylar hunting down and killing mutants (and about the potential nuking of NY [from Isaac]), and organizes all the mutants he knows about to stop them (both from destroying NY and from hurting his daughter, for whom he seems to have a genuine fondness for). It comes down to a duel between Sylar's gang and Bennett's "X-Men" over Claire (in Claire's high school, where Sylar chases down Claire [and finally corners her in the gym] while his thugs take on the good guys [using telekinetics to attack Peter]).

Quote:Originally posted by BrownCoat1: Okay, last night's episode was one of the best so far. Here some talking points: - Hiro went back six months into the past? According to the waitress that Hiro's buddy talked to he apparently was around for months before disappearing just a few weeks before she was killed. If he was in the past and around for months, why is the waitress still dead? Where is Hiro? He was supposed to be at the Homecoming according to Isaac's painting. Did he alter the timeline when he went back to save the waitress? Did that action invalidate Isaac's vision of the future.
Quote:- Peter absorbed Claire's healing ability. It saved his life, further proving his ability is to mimic the powers of others. Wonder why he did not have the ability to use Sylar's powers.
