I agree! It's a fun show and he is obviously having fun with it. I love it!

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

And I say Yvonne is a hot chick on the show and in real life.

I love "Chuck."

I've been watching Chuck. It's entertaining. Has that mild annoyance from time to time, I think a good editor could make this a half hour show without a lot of loss, but then the studio would add a laugh track and canned jokes and it would suck. The fact that I'm still watching should be considered high praise :)

I'm disappointed the first season isn't available On Demand from NBC... I hate to start a series somewhere in the middle, intrigued though I am.

GRIZWALD

There was a spot during Chuck vs. the Best Friend where "Casey" threatened him or scared him or something and then just as he turned away there was this little ghost of a smile on Adam's (or maybe it was Casey's) face... I loved it. It was subtle and terrific.

I love watching the episodes a couple of times over and by the second time concentrating on Adam whenever he is in frame. He is just so funny!

I am glad I started watching Chuck from the start. It is fun to see how Chuck deals with his Buy More friends and his duties with the agents.

Tonight’s episode of CHUCK was actually more serious than it usually is and to tell the truth that was fine by me. A little change of pace never hurt anything.

Anyway, enjoyed the show, but a little disappointed we’ll have to wait a span of two weeks before it returns.

Looks like we’re getting Adam at 7pm (Chuck), Nathan at 9pm (Castle) and hopefully Morena will be staring on “V” on ABC soon. Just hope that ABC or NBC will get all the Firefly crew back for a mini-series of our BDHs. That would make a whole lot of browncoats happy.

We won't be sure if Alan is really on Dollhouse until those episodes when Alpha is revealed are broadcast. Joss reportedly has denied it, but probably because Alan spoke out of turn.

As for Jewel on Atlantis, that show is not on anymore (except in syndication that is).

I haven't caught too many eps, but what I've seen I like. Interestingly enough, the very first ep I caught (not sure which one) had a scene where Adam Baldwin is washing or polishing his Crown Vic (I think that's what he drives -- typical cop/govt car) and Chuck is there watching him and says something like:

"Gee, your car is really... shiny."

to which Adam smiles and responds:

"Yeah, she's Shiny alright."

Had to smile at that.

REGINAROADIE

Favorite bit from the last few episodes.

"I'm moving out."
"YES!!"
"And moving in with Morgan."
"NOOO!!!"

I love the dynamic between Chuck and Ellie. Like in an earlier ep when Chuck woke u with Ellie being frantic, he thinks that they're in serious danger, but when she says that she's nervous about meeting Awesome's parents, he just turns off and goes back to bed while she's still freaking out.

My favorite Case moment was when they were in the contaminated room, and Chuck thinks he has to kiss Casey to cure him and Casey says "I've served my country for over twenty years. Let me die with dignity." Chuck still kisses him and then finds out that it wouldn't have worked from the ex-girlfriend turned Fulcrum agent.

Does Adam Baldwin get enough screen time in it for a fan to buy the season? I realize he's not Chuck, but I just wanna make sure it's not just like... cameo apearances in the first season or something. :) Sounds like a super funny show! Thanks for the purchasing tip.

Oh, he's a series regular, all right. I was thinking he'd be just an occasional character, but he's one of the main ones, along with Chuck and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovsky).

And the character he plays is very Jayne-like. He's basically what woulda' happened if Jayne had been trained as an Operative.

Hell, John Casey might well be a Cobb ancestor. . .

(Which would probably make Chuck Bartowski a Tam ancestor, given the kind of aggravation he causes.)

My wife and I rented Season 1 and really enjoyed it. I'm glad to hear it stays good in Season 2. We'll be anxiously awaiting its DVD release. I hear you talk about Burn Notice a lot, Chris. How does Chuck compare? Does Burn Notice have humor?

BN is very cool, in the same ballpark as Chuck, but a touch more on the serious side. It depends on if you like the star, he can be irritating if you don't like his take on the character. Watch an ep on Hulu.com to see, and if you like it at all, go for it. I like it almost as much as Chuck.

Lat night's episode (3-16-09) a repeat from the Fall (Season 2 Episode 2) had Melinda Clarke as a guest star.

She played Nandi in "Heart of Gold."

I love seeing all our BDH and LDH working
[I even walked in one morning last week while my wife was watching "The Young and the Restless", where Nathan had one of his first acting roles, and there was Michael Fairman, our beloved Niska, as a very compassionate humble and loving shopowner. Will wonders never cease.]

I agree here, but I almost like Burn Notice more than I like Chuck. Bruce Campbell in Burn Notice is a definite plus. He's outstanding. The only thing I don't like about Michael Westin is his smile. It's so . . . plastic. It seems so disingenuous even when you KNOW he's trying to really mean it. Whether that's the take on the character ("so much serious/troubled background he finds it hard to smile and really mean it" kind of thing)or what. But definately worth renting if you get a chance.

When the series finale aired (kind of unexpectedly) and the announcer said, "New episodes of Burn Notice will return NEXT SUMMER" my wife and I both literally yelled NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we heard the new episodes were weak and failed to capture the spirit of Season One. But my wife and I are convinced that reviewer was on crack because they've all been great. The Season 2 finale was incredible.
