ABC had faith in this show, so they aired it perhaps when no other network would. Low ratings be darned, they decided to renew it because of the show's potential. Now, this doesn't mean they'll renew it for a third season or even that they won't cancel it in the second season because of ratings, but at at least they're giving a show they beleive in a decent chance to thrive. And I, for one, think the writing and the acting deserve that.
