America loves a winner!

I could have sworn there was a movie or mini series w/ near this exact same premise, not a few years ago.... Is this a 'reboot' of a lame original ?

Confused.

*edit* Sure enough, there was a 2003 movie... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0310952/news#ni2076763

I'm totally unfamiliar w/ the works of Farmer and I find nothing from either the 2003 version or this one compelling in the least.

Yeah, there's Eureka and Caprica, but it seems there are far more misses, BAD misses, than there ought to be.

Young Merlin? Are you serious ?
