I'm surprised this hasn't been up yet.

Last week and this week's episodes featured our own Mark "Badger" Sheppard in a fairly major guest role (reprising his earlier appearance as Crowley, the king of the Crossroad Demons, and con-artiste extraordinaire [and a Magnificent Bastard to boot]). He practically stole both episodes (which isn't an easy task with a cast like that). It looks like he'll continue to be a major player until the end of the season, and possibly next season as well.

Also this week: Sam and Dean go to Serenity ValleyCare Hospice. And then they get rescued by an Angel riding in as the cavalry.

At this point, I can only assume there's a Browncoat on staff.

And now it seems to be confirmed that Supernatural will be back for a SIXTH season.

Nobody was more shocked than I was to hear of this. I thought they were doing 5 years and that was it, but now it seems they're clamoring for more.

Ben Edlund is a producer/writer on the show.

BROWNCOAT1

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Got seasons 1, 2, & 3 for Christmas after a friend recommended the series. Finished season 1 and am 5 episodes into season 2. Great show! Wish I had been watching all along.

BIGRICHARD

Yeah, he's been great! Although I did love the guy who played the Trickster.
Really enjoying Supernatural lately, love the season-long arc that they have going these days, rather than the creature of the week. Much better.

SINGATE

I have yet to see Sheppard do a bad job in any role. As much as I have enjoyed Crowley the show was stolen by Death. Talk about a cool customer, and that intro was one of the greatest moments of the entire series.

On a Browncoat related note, did anyone happen to notice the name of the retirement home Pestilence was using as his base of operations? That's right it was Serenity Valley. I didn't catch this one myself, I saw it posted on another fansite. Thinking Ben Edlund had a hand in this.

That was indeed a great intro. I loved how they changed the pale horse to a white car (pale horse power??). And if I'm not mistaken wasn't it a Plymouth Fury? i.e. the same make model as Christine - which is surely the ultimate death car.
