The Lego Movie is from the same guys that did Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs.

If you want to have some good silly LOL fun, go see this movie. Don't have kids to go with, GO anyway! I went with my son (who turned 31) and his girlfriend for his birthday, and we had a great old time. We came out of the movie singing "Everything is Awesome."

You probably have heard the premise of the movie, but basically it revolves around a Lego construction worker and his journey to becoming awesome. Along the way he meets up with all kinds of heroes and superheroes in discovering his uniqueness. Much more than that I can't say, mainly because it was so full of gags and funny set ups that paid off in a variety of ways. Over-the-top cliches, sight gags and general silliness were the order of the day. In the theater, there were just as many adults as were children, laughing and giggling together at pretty much the same gags and jokes.

In fact, there were so many that I want to see it again because I missed some due to the hilarity that ensued. Like Batman complimenting Bruce Wayne on his good looks........okay, that's all I'm gonna say for now. Go! Have fun!

P.S. There is a cameo that'll have you giggle mode from moment one. It is a positive message, mainly for kids of course, that addresses bullying and individual achievement, both in an uplifting way.

The reason it's kicking ass is Benny!

Saw The LEGO Movie and "holey plastic, Batman" was it epicly awesome! I might be saying that because I've been a fan of Lego since atleast 4 years old, but I swear it's as good as the first Toy Story. That was definitely the most I've laughed in a theater since the first Hot Shots!

Not only VERY funny, but also awe inspiring. And I didn't even see it in 3D.

Only problem I can think of was:

Select to view spoiler:

During the big chase in Wild West, in the big vehicle they were building to get away, Vitruvius hands Emmet the wagon wheel, and Emmet can't find anything else to fit it on, so he sticks it to his head. WRONG. I've tried that and the wagon wheel will NOT click on to a regular stud. It has to have an axle or thin rod.

Oh and I walked out of the theater before the end credits ended. CA-RAP!

Question, SGG:

What cameo are you refering to? There are potentally many.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to do this....

Actually, technically speaking, it wasn't a cameo because Will Farrell was the voice of Big Business. He was the father at the end of the movie, and quite funny.

Awesome!
